Was a fairly standard Sema performance, although his set piece deliveries were mostly very impressive.
Spot on. Fewer of his ‘barge everyone out of the way and cross from the byline’ opportunities today but his set pieces were definitely more dangerous throughout.
Joint highest assists in the Championship. No doubt he's not good enough for the Prem, but great at this level
Unavailable again for the weekend. Of course a tight hamstring seems to have turned into a bigger problem.
Why would we potentially risk him by making him available for a pointless cup game when he's only just coming back from injury anyway?!
Yeah judging by what he said the other day, a lot of them will be back for Blackpool. Absolutely zero point chucking any of them back in against Reading
Yeah. Where is the King? Presume it’s a hamstring. Or is it a bruising, Or something else niggling, Or did he just sin And get disciplined? I’m in a spin For the return of the King This is the power of Ken. The first player to inspire me to poetry. I use the term ‘inspire’ loosely. Love you Ken.
And you use the term “poetry” loosely. Apologies for my meanness. I haven’t read poetry since secondary school (many decades ago), so I am no expert!
More on the ball work from the medics. Doubt for the Swansea game? Actually on second thoughts not available for 4 games and no idea when he'll be back.
The opposite of Sarr, always putting himself about, you don't buy a ticket, you don't win the lottery!
He was everywhere tonight, scored two could of had a third. I know he gets stick from some, but he always gives 110% and tries each game. Certainly one to keep whatever division we end up in next season.
Just seen the interview with King Ken on the official website. How long has he been a Watford player? It must be his first ever interview as he has a really pronounced stammer. I never knew that about him before. Makes me love him even more.
One of our most consistent players, and he is very versatile too. I agree with Skyla we should keep him even if we do go up, as he would still be a good squad member especially with his versatility.
An effective, hardworking player who gets results. If it was a choice between losing Sarr or Sema in the summer I'd be keeping King Ken all day long.
He was one of my favourite players in the squad before that interview yesterday but now he is top of the list. What an absolute inspiration he is. Like others I never knew he had a stammer and actually had never heard him speak before but he followed up his excellent performance with a top notch interview to boot. Somewhere out there, a young kid with a stammer will see that interview and think if he can do it then I can. Brilliant stuff.
I’m glad Ken Is getting the love he deserves. As I’ve said before if he hadn’t joined us in the premier league and only played championship football , he would be an unequivocal hero amongst our fans .
The reality is he was signed to replace Richarlison. Pretty sure most of Everton's squad would be getting big love from their fans if they had been signed as championship players? The thing in his favour is he is patient, has a good attitude and happy to sit out large parts of the season while we thrash around the premier league but he's pretty average.
Yes lacks the pace for the Premier league but does seem to come up with an assist or goal in the Championship.
I think he's a slightly above average Championship wide attacker to be honest, but certainly not able to bridge the gap to PL standard.
Was he actually, or was he merely signed as a squad option? It's not as if he was a regular in his first season under Gracia, and then left on loan the next season as we didn't really have a place in the team for him
