It would be hilarious and fully understandable if Bayo doesn't even make the bench for Saturday. Araujo starting, Tobi on the bench. Bilic can see Bayo is sh!te but Tobi isn't in a position to be starting games yet. Now we have another senior striker available that should be the end of Bayo.
Wonder if the CM is Harry Winks. I know it was mentioned in the summer as his parents were at the ground. On loan at Sampdoria but must be having an awful time there. Barely played all season and I would imagine Sampdoria would be happy to let him go. I highly doubt they are going to exercise their option to buy, especially in their current position. Would have thought Spurs would be open to selling him considering he only has 18months left on his contract and I don’t think he would cost that much (but it’s also Levy so he would probably ask for something stupid like £15mil). He’s about to turn 27 and his career is falling fast. He’s entering his peak years and not playing. If he wants to get back to playing at the highest level then I think he would be smart to join us and help us get back to Prem. Offer him a 3-4 year contract, and see how it pans out.
Surely a CB is imminent with Troost gone. Gino knows we are 1 CB injury away from the u23s having to step up?
Being so far behind, are we making all these loan signings just to make the top 6? I'd have thought we have enough for top 6 already. I think I'm feeling pretty hopeless that we'd actually win the playoffs which is maybe a sign of my comment that it feels pointless making all these loan signings for half a season just to stay in the championship.
I assume it's to try and guarantee we finish top 6 which would otherwise be very much in the balance. We'll have a better chance and hopefully a decent chnace in the lottery of the POs. Promotion still very much an outside bet though given where we are in the table.

Bookies have us as 13% to get promoted. 8 teams within 4 points of us chasing 4 PO places. We should have enough if Pedro?Louza come back soon, esp with the new guy from Benfica, but it's a lot more than marginally in the balance (unless I misunderstood what you meant by that phrase). Then we have to actually win the POs !
I guess so. I guess I thought we were more dead certs than we actually are! So I suppose if it is tighter than I expected then additions will help secure it. I have no faith whatsoever that our bunch will have the bottle to win the playoffs though. And given that my wife will be giving birth around the playoffs I doubt I'll be allowed to go anyway!

Son is losing popularity among both the coaches and fans at Spurs. I wouldn't mind taking him on a 6 month loan deal with an option to buy. Sarr going the other way as a sweetener could genuinely make this deal possible. Would set the Champo alight.
Bilic’s Press conference is going to be great. I wanted a ST, CM, Winger and CB. I got ST! What nonsense is this? They give me striker whose name is pronounced r you a hoe or something like that, this is not what I want. Nothing happens in January, Thursdays ..... and sadly, in recent seasons, nothing much happens on match days !!
Was so keen on that at the start of the season but just doesn’t fit our current system at all. Great at wing-back or maybe on the right in a 4-4-2.
