  1. IRB

IRB THe artist formally know as ImRonBurgundy?

It doesn't actually specify his knee, perhaps its another type of surgery?

A "prisoner" in his own body if you will??

Hes already got the first name sorted

I think it's something that you notice with players that get injured long term, especially in defence or midfield.

You get those that continue the way they were before, and then you get those that feel like every tackle is a one way ticket to the physio room for another year.

I suspect he's fitter to play than he's letting on, and doesn't want to risk the prospect of not picking up another payday.

As has already been mentioned, calling yourself a "prisoner" for sitting on your arse making obscene money just makes you look like a ****

To be honest, most of us would take up the offer of refusing to work if we can still get our guaranteed wages? Why bother to get out of bed?

IF, and it’s a big if, he has been deemed fit by enough people but is still refusing to play or get close to playing and we can’t send him back or come to an agreement with Villa, I’d just tell him to stay away from the club. Or at the very least make him train, get changed etc away from the First Team. If the above is in any way true, he’ll be a negative influence we don’t need around, especially when he’s not our player/concern.

Needs to skip the social media and concentrate on getting fit. Is that a car or a cinema room at his gaff? He doesnt seem right in the head to be honest.

I did read in their local rag that he was back at Villa for treatment. Obviously that was a load of bollox

Seems to be some confusion over that .
Some say he is but has a Watford training kit on.

AL has just put up an Athletic article about Hause being in limbo. Most of it confirms previous reporting / guess work but essentially Villa aren't inclined to do us any favours by terminating the loan deal, the player wants surgery (which would put him out for 6 months) but we think it could be dealt with by seeing a specialist with a view to him being back in 6 weeks. Watford have told Villa we have no plans to include him in our registered squad for the remainder of the season as it stands, so he could be left completely frozen out. There's been fleeting interest from other clubs in potentially taking him on but the tone of the article suggests that or any other resolution before the transfer window shuts looks pretty remote at the moment. Oh and we're paying a contribution towards his £25k weekly wage.

All in all, another one for the 'doing business properly' list.

Disastrous transfer but if we are leaving him out anyway might as let the bloke have surgery, assuming Villa doesn’t disagree with his self diagnosis.

It's odd but I've never really considered the extent to which professional players do or don't have autonomy over treatment options, beyond the obvious point they can hardly be forced into a procedure against their will. I'm assuming part of the issue if insurance-related, because if our medical advisors don't agree surgery is necessary we can't claim for his wages or whatever the policy covers?

Wouldn’t the decision on surgery lay with Villa?

You'd think so but then maybe they're happy with the idea of surgery but feel contractually Watford should foot the bill for it?

The Athletic today reporting the PFA are now involved:

I'd be surprised if the club who has signed a player on loan would be contractually obliged to pay for surgery on that player, but I may be wrong.

May be a debate over "who broke him". The pre-existing injury or a new injury acquired during his single(?) appearance for us ? We must be liable for injuries on our books given AV would have no control over his training regieme etc.

Can also understand somewhat why the player is not happy - he's clearly acting a bit of a t1t. But must be hard when your parent club essentially don't want to know.

Why sign a player like this in the first place. Injured in the summer with not a great record. An utter waste of time. Our business in the summer should be re named Carry on Signing starring Sid James and Kenneth Williams
