Doing what he does for us a bit . Plays well if the team does but goes missing when things don’t go well .
Thanks for missing that chance! It's impossible not to look at him in that first half though turning and running passed players like Walker without a moment's hesitation and not consider that he's been holding back for us these last few months.
What a cheating, diving, whinging **** he is. I already knew that but seeing it from an opposition fan point of view solidified it. Hopefully he comes back fired up after a fairly good WC.
We get a bit of money for his World Cup exploits . https://mobile.twitter.com/thewatfordway/status/1600464496791007232
Andrew French runs a story on how Sarr hasn't bothered returning to the club and that Bilic isn't pleased. He then gets the following response on Twitter, "Nothing to worry about, hardly a rare occurrence for a player to report back late from international duty. Irritating but no more." I'm not sure what goes on in people's heads. That person was probably at Selhurst Park last season clapping them off for getting relegated.
Lol let the guy have his one week rest. Ndiyae played 137 minutes at the World Cup, Sarr played 344 minutes. If he's misbehaved, he'll be fined accordingly. He's shyte apparently anyway?
I know football if different but if we didn’t turn up to work when asked most of us would be in trouble- even sacked .
If this was any other player it would be a total non story. But all our other players are too ***** to be playing in a World Cup so its moot.
We now have Leventhal saying that Sarr was given extra time off by Pozzo. Surely not Mr Pozzo undermining another Head Coach? Doesn't sound like him.
It's just the usual incompetence isn't it. All they had to do was Wednesday, say "we've discussed internally including with the Head Coach and we think Ismaila would benefit from a week's mental recuperation after an intense world cup". Perfectly reasonable and no discussions afterwards. But no, they end up looking like unprofessional idiots who don't know what is going on.
Yep, Bilic looks a fool now after his comments yesterday. This is all set up beautifully for Bilic to leave at the end of the month.
The usual case of people at the club giving mixed signals ? And no one really knows what was supposed to happen .
It was very cold yesterday, and he's just come back from Qatar. You've got to give him time to acclimatise.
Couple of alleged ITK's on the DNSYE podcast claimed 'someone at the top' allowed Sarr more time off without telling Bilic.
According to my calculations, since the season started he’s played 1784 minutes, equal to roughly 20 games in 19 weeks. He’s also played in AFCON this calendar year and been injured twice previously with hamstring injuries. Add the travel on top of that, a relegation, a career highlight AFCON win, transfer rumours, four head coaches and then a sad World Cup where their star talisman gets injured a week before and now the mental recharge to focus on promotion. That’s one hell of a year! Say what you want about him, he’s pivotal to our promotion chances. If ONE game against a supposedly shyte Hull side is what he needs whether it be physically or mentally, then let him ******* have it!! The reaction is absurd.
Poor baby, you're absolutely right - in fact, I reckon we have a whip round on here and get the lad a small gift, to really let him know how important he is. The dressing room will thank us for our proactivity. Cracking little player!
If we get Martin's in. Or someone else who can contribute, I'd be happy to let Sarr leave sooner rather than later.
Duxbury or someone will be along later to say he was allowed more time off and that Bilic was wrong.. Wouldn't be surprise.
