Never sure if you’re a parody account, but what has doing a few videos got to do with his attitude? He’s not paid millions to make TikToks, he’s paid millions to play football, and when doing that his attitude is very often questionable.
Not sure if you’re being deliberately obtuse. His attitude on the pitch has zero to do with his facial expressions.
I wouldn’t say Sarr has a bad attitude necessarily, but he does appear to be ravaged by self-doubt and lacking in the mixture of confidence and conviction in what he does that all the best players have. I can see how it may come across as not giving a shyte, but I’m not sure it’s that. I just think when it’s not going well for him, he shrinks. Like a lot of our squad. When he’s on it, he can be unplayable. Unfortunately he/we don’t seem to know how to unlock that on a consistent basis.
Not sure if you're a parody account of the generic Watford fan who forms pre-conceived opinions of players and refuses to change them when all evidence points to the contrary? It's been a tough few weeks for the Sarr detractors and a long winter lies ahead.
Sarr has been very loyal to Watford. I don't think his attitude is bad and in fact he works very hard for the team. maybe slightly frustrating as I feel we all think he can do more but maybe that's more down to self confidence. 5 goals and 4 assists in 13 games so far this season. Not bad at all
It’s lovely that you get all dewy eyed over a player doing some contractually obliged YouTube videos formulated, edited and published by the clubs pr department, but I’ll stick to forming opinions on what they do during 95+ minutes in an actual game of football, whether that be good or bad.
Seems to work hard, just lacks confidence so doesn't take opponents on as much he should. My point was serious though as his expression makes him appear to be sulky/disconnected to some fans.
I wasn’t making reference to his expression though, just stating that forming an opinion on him based on some PR output from the club that he’s contractually obliged to appear in is a little odd, especially when that opinion seemingly carries more weight with some than his actual real life job.
For a £32m player in the championship it’s average to poor, really. But that wasn’t the point I was making.
Not bad, imagine how good it would be if he performed most of the time in most of the games. He has achieved this return by only performing some of the time in most games.
The money we spent has nothing to do with him, that's our problem and I think we all know we got taken for a ride
What you've got to remember is, our PR team are a disaster. The slick, convincing press releases of yesteryear are long gone, now everything they touch turns to ****. For Sarr to come out looking good, he must actually be Jesus. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
You'd said his attitude was "questionable". I was just noting why others have questioned his attitude in the past. What makes you think he has a poor attitude ?
Yep; we paid £32m for a max £20m player....so does that make his contributions more acceptable to some?
I must have missed them, but I have to agree with you that the effluence we are showered with at present is unbearable. Clearly 'created' by people with no concept of joined-up words & apparently targeted at the same.
He may be semi-effective at this level in terms of goals and assists, but I really just cannot ******* stand this guy any more. An unbearable frustrating, overrated footballer.
Sarr's mate Sadio Mane out of the World Cup reportedly. Probably means he'll be even less keen to get involved on Saturday.
I'd say picking up north of £35k a week and should buy a bit of loyalty. And lets not forget that in return he regularly has sustained periods where he is unavailable for us.
There will extra pressure on Sarr to perform now Senegal have lost their main man. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/africa/63640205
I'm sure we'd ALL like our Ismaila to do well at the World Cup, but the sooner Senegal are knocked out the sooner we get him back! Plus, it is England they're playing!
Dire performance v England. Literally did not touch the ball for the first 20 mins, missed an open goal and now looks to be playing on through an injury. Would we even get £5m for this terd in January?
