I can’t bear the thought of losing to that lot and not sure a forum with that thought process is for me and that makes me a little sad. it’s on at 7am where I am and I’ll be pacing round praying we win. That was me a couple of years ago but since then I've come to hate Gino Pozzo and the club we've become. So now today is just another game of football, I don't really care what happens. In fact I'm quite intrigued to see what happens if we lose, it could be a tipping point for a lot of fans. L**** fans can still f*ck off though.

Exactly this. I get why some hate the owners. Really hate them. But to hope that we lose to that lot, just so that more fans will be upset, just on the off chance that somehow that speeds Gino selling to a new owner, is incredibly pathetic. I hope they are just saying this for effect. Not sure how any poster can call themselves a fan of the club if they only want the team to win against local rivals if they like whoever happens to be owning the club at the time. The only non-negotiable of being a fan, is wanting to see your team win, no matter how **** they might be.

 

Considering the result today will have no bearing whatsoever on the length on Gino's ownership, this is an absolutely bizarre sentiment to have, honestly.

If it's more important for some to be able to say 'nerr nerr told you so ' at people they don't know on a football forum/twitter, than beating the club's biggest rivals, then it may be time for some self-reflection on priorities, imo.

 

Can't agree with this. The wandering idiots will just flip flop back the other way when we beat Wigan or whoever. And then we've lost to the scum and the Gino out cause is no further forward.

 

Weather will help us. Lots of rain, means the ball will slip about nicely and suit our passing game. Luton players won't fancy the wet.
