Sorry Reid. I didn't realise you were one. I wasn't casting aspersions. I assume that it is something someone can get employed to do if you are good at it without having to have all the coaching badges. (I'm probably digging an even bigger hole for myself).
No problem! Yeah I only have my FA Level 2 coaching badge which wouldn't even get me a job in an academy usually if I were a usual coach, but yet I'm working in Serie A and the Portuguese top divisions and nobody seems to mind!
I also remember that game. I drove there and got lost so arrived just before half time. The away end was closed so they took me through the home end at the very same time as Furlong was sent off for punching somebody. They're fans were on the verge of rioting and I had to walk through them accompanied by one very scared looking steward!

bit gimmicky but at least it gets their crowd going. Z-Cars is hardly an atmosphere driver when the players come out
Bit harsh saying his fitness levels werent good. He might be a bit off the pace for a pro footballer but he's in stunning condition for an 85 year old.

I think things like this are positive , he doesn’t seem shy about calling out some dodgy practices and lack of effort , guess he knows he will always be at risk so is making sure if he get sacked it’s not through lack of trying. would love to hear what he thinks of our medical team and their fondness for keeping players way longer than normal (on this point what’s wrong with cleverly ? )
Love a redemption story especially when its a player who gets slagged off before anyones actually seen him play. Hope he comes good.
He hasn’t really got anything to lose, get sacked and it’s the same as the previous umpteen managers, not get sacked and he has obviously won the champions league!

Always just assumed with Kalu we realised as soon as he turned up he wasn’t 24, so just kept him out of view from anyone to keep it under wraps.

It's going to take Kalu a while to adjust to the pace of the Championship, having played walking football with the other veterans for the last few years. In all seriousness I really hope he gets some fitness and shows a bit of a spark as Bilic suggests. Would be nice to be able to give Sema/Sarr a bit of a rest in games and still carry a threat. I reckon he's going to score the goal that sends us up and become a true cult hero.
Have the g1mps in the FA made a decision on the Louza incident yet? Bit of a piss take at this stage. Must be desperately trying to find some shred of evidence to ban him for a few games.
I expect in the absence of any evidence they will use the "no smoke without fire and it's watford" regulation to impose a ban, which will probably be communicated 5 mins before kick off on Sunday.
I'd be surprised if he didn't get a ban of some sort. Even on Hive it looked like he gobbed at the back of the bloke's legs.
