I don't mind being called an idiot, I don't mind people telling me I'm talking crap, what I do mind is people purposely going out of their way to insult me on a personal level, whether that be to do with my interests or anything else, and looking to personally embarrass me from behind the safety of their keyboard. I'm not a thug, I'm not someone who looks for trouble and throws my fists around any time I hear something I don't like, but what I am is someone who won't be deliberately disrespected and embarrassed. I'm simply making it clear to WatfordTalk that he shouldn't say things to someone on a forum that he wouldn't say to their face in person.
Won player of the season last time in the Prem and has had more than one decent game. JP is a lot of bark but no bite in my opinion. Player of his touted talent should be ripping up this league but went missing in a good few games and only scored 2 so far.
He won player of the season because he replied to fans on Twitter and looked sad when we lost games! He’s very average even in the Chamionship, JP is a good few levels above him.
The only thing that is going up at the Vic these days is the price of the food….can we not bring back the schools penalty shoot out at half time then at least we will see someone putting in effort on the pitch.
It's hard to know what to say about this game, apart from a "We told you so, Gino." Shameful, unforgiveable squad building and management. Each managerial sacking since our 2019/2020 relegation has deepened and entrenched the view of a squad that simply does not fundamental fight hard enough each game and expects the opposition to give them the time and space to let us do what we want. You can have off games. That's normal and **** happens. But you can't have a lack of fight every other game which demonstrates an unwilligness to even try. This stems from the very top.
I am but Hermes Chum! If all this is authentic this chap wants control but Pozzo wants investment not a sale.
All fair points. But I still say offering out violence on the forum is pretty mental - and Kelso levels of weird. So I’m guessing it’s heat of the moment stuff from the pair of you personally.
Seriously. Does it matter in life? We all follow Watford, but right now the club is in a mess. It is now looking at survival rather than promotion. Throw into the mix that Sarr, Pedro and Louza possibly going in January, then the fear of relegation really looms large. We lost today and we are angry, but tomorrow is another day and it doesn't matter. We don't play for Watford, pay their wages or own the club. Unfortunately, the 'our club' mantra is wasted on Pozzo and is a useless term used by the fans. Of course, the fans mean well. Let's focus on the club rather than throw a hissy fit at someone on this site. I post all sorts of views which many regard as rubbish, but l don't care. If you don't agree with my view, that's ok. That is what this platform is for. Many fans feared the worst before the season started. Many pundits also viewed Watford as mid table at best. The favourite tag was purely based on parachute money. IMO, l think the Pozzo family will look to sell rather than face the club going into administration. Make no mistake, administration is a real threat. We all heard SEJ bark out at his concert at the Vic "play with some f**king passion". Sadly, this has just not happened. What must he really be thinking when seeing the team he supports look so, so poor? I feel that the fans should let the club and players know at all upcoming games how they feel. This is not the time for anoraks, happy Clappers or the die hards to persuade you not to demonstrate . Remember, the club is an embarrassment to us all. If you can attend the games, make your feelings heard. Don't be meak and mild or allow the stewards to stop you from voicing your opinions as at the Norwich game last season. It is uncanny that you can demonstrate at the next home game and the opposition is Norwich. What has changed since we last met them at home? Nothing, a big fat zero. That is telling you something...
On a more important note, the Hornets u6 team won again today in style. Running out 10-8 winners, I’ve fully implemented the Watford way of sodding the defence and going all out attack. It was 10-5 with 3 mins to go, we nearly crumbled in Watford like fashion after conceding 3 in 3mins, but held on. My unbeaten record still in tact as manager, my top goal scorer now on 17 goals after 3 games and top of the league. Slaven Bilic I’m coming for you
Even more incentive to force The Mad King Gino out now Even the last remaining “well who else is there?!” COGs would have to finally shut up, now that there is seemingly a specific potential buyer in the frame
My Mrs said to me again today why do you put yourself through this? Watford is the worst addiction I've ever had and I need help to fix this problem. I can deal with bad players and out of form players what I will never accept is players not caring and it looks like most of the squad couldn't give a flying fook. Good luck Slav you'll need it.
So how long before QSF comes back? I still don't understand why we binned off Edwards so quickly. We aren't going up anyway, might as well have given him the whole season at least.
Well, they way things are going we will be fighting to stay up. Possible my 8th position finish was too optimistic. We really do have some talentless fops in the team currently.
"I prefer the old ways" as Medea said. Get her in. Don't touch that robe Pozzo! Well quite! Oh I do so like fops! Well played indeed!
If I am totally honest here, I cannot see even Xisco with his "Mr. Nice Guy" mentallity getting a tune out the squad enough to turn what could be relegation battle into a playoff push. Yes he would have WTE, Sarr, Sema, Cathcart, Kabs and Bachmann etc. but all these players are two years older and two years more passive. It would be a waste of his time and ours, but hey Gino knows best.
To me this has the hallmarks of a Sunderland, Charlton, Portsmouth etc with a drop into league 1. Perhaps not this season (I suspect we'll be 16 - 20th) but next. Gino Pozzo has completely lost control of all things in terms of Strategy, planning, finances and we're seeing that manifest on the pitch, where the players simply have no attachment or desire to play for the club. The decision to sack RE and keep Giaretta will be the one that causes the biggest implosion
Just read Bilic’s post match comments and to be trueful if my manager had said that about me I would be more than embarrassed. I wonder how many players on the bus on the way home are of the same vein….probably very few…shame as I was hoping this season would hold so much to cheer about but sadly it’s turning into a whimper.
Yep, I have confidence in Bilic's character and pedigree. If even he can't get a tune out of this squad then we really must be in a mess.
Well I'm not surprised. Bachmann came out in the week and basically said "Yeah we didn't really bother under Edwards, our bad! Don't worry we'll run a bit more under Bilic though." Bunch of spineless drips.
My daughter is 8. She goes to Judo once a week. She said that she will take you on. She will fight you in the centre circle at the Vic if you agree to race her on the downhill here. Can you ski? She is in bed now, but expects an answer by dawn.
