Being previously happy to take a cruise on the good ship HMSPTL I now find myself gravitating towards Uncle Ron's pirate ship of perversion.

If we go a goal down Saturday its going to be toxic.

Therefore is it time to take this anger to Gino?

Didn’t we say this last year and nothing happened?

Fans at the game won’t do much - just tut and complain under their breath or to the person next to them.

I voted yes but no fan outcry ever gets anything done. As fans, the only thing we can do is vote with our wallets. Don't go to games, don't buy merchandise etc. Fans' are what keeps football clubs alive, and the less of us that attend (home game especially) it could make a difference. Banners are a waste of time, prostests outside the ground are largely ignored too. It's not just Gino who needs removing, it's all of them. Dux, Gino Geriatta and the dodgy used car dealer. We can do very little as fans' due to the powers that be.

I haven't been to a home game since Wolves last season. They are the main reason why. I do not want us to go back to the days of Baz or even Simpson. EJ needs to take a stand sooner rather than later - surely he can see what is happening to the club and the soul of it is slowly dying each season. He has a lot more say than we could ever have - he loves Watford FC and even hinted at getting back into the club ethos. By the time that does happen, it could be too late. We could be totally crippled with debt with no parachute payements left as Gino cut's and runs...

I hope it never gets to that stage, but signs are not good and have not been good since the Semi Final win. I know a lot of people hark on about that game, but it's true. Despite having an overall successful promotion season under Xisco, when have we truly been happy to watch the club since? It's depressing tines.

We have stormed the board and we will do it again. I've seen home fans at away games do the same. Fan power can hold sway. The toxic atmosphere for too long has been aimed at the players.

    Time for action comrades

Probably might see some anti Pozzo toppers and a plastic fruit aimed at the directors box....

I mean, there is a clear precedent for the Pozzo family listening and reacting to the sort of protests that you mention. Udinese fans protested a few years ago and look at them now.

Without the backing from some supporter groups nothing will happen. A lot of fans are happy with the way the club is being run or simply don't care enough and have other things going on in their lives, I certainly fall into that last category.

I think dressing up as or taking a piece of fruit is a good form of protest. Traditional and really sends a message about us as fans

Yep any meaningful action will only be do-able through the 1881 I'd imagine... pretty unlikely.

Need to get the Gino banner back but with a knife cutting through his neck and Bayats thumb on his forehead.

I'd like to start with an anti-Bayat banner. Maybe Nantes have one we can borrow.

They've all to a certain degree been bought and paid for by the club. The "secret" committee has really compounded that.
There are those like Sam Ucko, DNSYE and even From The Rookery End, who would stand to loose less by distancing themselves. But the others particularly the endless number of "supporter" groups need to keep onside of the club to keep getting the exposure they crave (and I think truly enjoy)
In terms of the 1881, they use club property (I believe) with the bunker, so run the risk of loosing that if they speak out

    They exist to power clap.

Their whole identity is to take much, much, much more **** than a normal fan and eat it all up with a huge grin on their faces. It's what gets them up in the morning.

It's the apathy of the fans that's frustrating. Even Elton gave an impassioned speech to the players and its made no difference.

The last game I attended was the home debacle to Leeds. I was trying to make myself heard, with shouts of F off back to Italy you greasy *** and F off Duxbury you clown. But it achieved nothing but a guy behind me agreeing sympathetically, stewards looking at me to say I couldn’t do what I was doing but not having the balls to say anything and most our fans looking at me thinking that’s not showing your kid the best example.

I get that when people do great things initially, it can become difficult to overlook that when things begin to turn sour, but, genuine question, at other clubs who have had problems with their owners, at what stage do they reach the tipping point? Derby fans were lapping it up when Mel Morris 'had the league on strings', only for everyone to decide they were against him when they were on the verge of relegation to League 1

Derby fans really had the wool pulled over their eyes with the finances though. That debt when finally revealed was unreal.
I really hope we aren't next.

Was their debt not on public record? The extent of our debt is out there, although it all seems to be swept under the carpet, doesn't it?

As for whether we're the next Derby, I'm not sure we'll end up in as much of a crisis as them, I think in the likely even of us not going up this season we'll probably muddle along financially with the sale of our big name players, but we almost certainly will end up in our 'natural' state as a mid-table/relegation threatened Championship club, just as we were when we got relegated in 06/07

Well I guess we had the play off season in 07/08 which might be like this one then really fell away from a top team position.

Much the same after 99/00 either although that down to the failed Vialli experiment and ITV Digital going bust.

Definition of insanity is doing the same things repeatedly and expecting different results .
The Pozzos I am grateful for their tenure, but its course had run ,its time for a change .
How and who I have no idea ,but at present club is on a downward trend . Some out of club control. And some most definitely have been avoidable mistakes.
