What's the odds on Gerrard being booted by Villa if they lose their next game? High I would of thought. Three points from five is relegation form already.

Had to laugh at one of the biggest cheats around, Callum Wilson having a whinge about Richarlison’s conduct.

  8. I'm not even sure another dent in "Sir" Eddie's reputation can balance out the annoying band of happy Liverpool fans tonight, the smug crystal white teethed gurning of Klopp And the annoying FPL masses who held on to an underperforming Salah and managed to skank a last minute assist for themselves.

Leaves a sour taste in the mouth at the end of what was an otherwise pretty joyous 2 days of football.

How many attacking players do Forest need?

Will Dennis actually get much game time .

He came on yesterday and managed to get booked .

Garner to Everton a done deal.

Can’t decide whether that’s sheer desperation or stupidity.

They seem absolutely intent on spending as much money as possible to make themselves relegation candidates. Tells you everything you need to know that Forest have bought 20 players yet didn’t want James Garner.

    I’d take Dyche.

Sick to death of the arrogant little ***** and tired of watching his dull brand of Poundshop Pep football.

Yeah, got the distinct impression during yesterday's dull affair that some of the remaining core 'performers' like Vardy, Ndidi and Maddison are now looking to throw him under a no.11 double-decker when given the chance. One more soft defeat and he will be duly 'Top' ed.

Rogers is very clearly trying to get sacked. How long is his contract ?

Would AV be interested in taking Rogers ? Maybe he's been sounded out hence his vocal criticism of Leicester transfer window ? A nice pay-off and fresh start at a bigger club (sorry @Filbert )?

Fast Eddie Toon continues to hit the heights on the 'Smugiest T**t in the Premier League' scale despite the ample competition he faces. The adopted Geordie helpfully told players he has no control over yesterday:
...And when dropping a hint to players such as Watford star Pedro, Howe went on: "I think the challenge for those players (who missed out on moves) is to refocus. The actual gap between the windows is very short. January will be here before we know it. So they just have to focus on that period now and double down on your work."

What a prize a*** he really is.

I hope he never becomes Man Utd's manager, who genuinely have a player tax. Fees have been massive for everyone this summer.

Record breaking January window, but a third of the spend was Utd, Chelsea and Forest.

Looking at an 8 figure sum to sack him apparently. He filled the void after the owner died, I think the club were happy to hand over the decision making to him because he’s a big name and he talks the talk.

Unfortunately for us, it turns out that Rodgers is great at galvanising teams but awful at building the dynasty his ego commands.

In fairness to Rodgers, I don’t think he really entertained the interest from Arsenal before they employed Arteta. He played a blinder when we won the FA Cup and like Pearson and Ranieri, while it’s ending on a bum note he’s made history at the club.

He got two Europa League campaigns badly wrong and oversaw two complete bottle jobs in the league that saw us miss out on the CL. A club of our size and budget shouldn’t expect top 4 finishes but had it there on a plate and had we held on to one of those places none of this shambles would be happening now.

He’s very easy to dislike as a person and the complaining about transfers and attempts to gaslight the fans leave a sour taste in the mouth. Many of these problems are of his own making but I don’t expect any sort of mea culpa anytime soon. The lack of coaching that the players clearly receive, despite Rodgers astronomical wages and brand new state of the art training facility is frankly embarrassing.

I’d honestly take Sean Dyche now, he’d work with what’s available and stick a rocket under the squad’s arse. I’m sick to death of watching this half baked attempt at copying tiki taka. It’s boring and it doesn’t suit the team but hey it’s trendy and apparently what the team should aspire to play.

BR obviously thinks that the club is lucky to have him and that’s a dangerous attitude for a leader to have.

Explains why he is either looking to get sacked or feels in such a powerful position he can happily open fire on the owners for not giving him enough new toys to play with.

Spot on with your analysis there Filbert. I know he was only our gaffer for a short spell before Reading came calling, but I wasn't a fan of him even then. He seems to me like the sort of coach who finds one way of doing something, then never changes. A bit like Gracia did for us before he was sacked. He stuck to the same formation with the same tactics and it's no wonder he was booted after one point from our first four games. If Rodgers walked now before he was pushed, I feel a lot of Leicester fans' would still hold him in regard. He has done brilliant things at Leicester but it's obvious to everyone now that it's gone stale. Players' aren't motivated anymore and he needs to either change it up or check out before he ruins what goodwill he has.

Liverpool have been poor today, but credit to Everton played really well and deserve to be winning. Odd how inconsistent Liverpool are at the moment.

Yet another weekend where the desire to watch my team in the Premier League drops even further. Dreadful league that makes a good TV show and VAR is the latest gimmick to keep the viewers.

Only person who seems to think the decision against WH was right is the Chelsea manager..

    Funny that !

It seems the refs generally on pitch bottle disagreeing with VAR officials.

Almost like they’d get into trouble if they go against it !

I'm certainly no Rodgers fan, but I think he can be pretty aggrieved by how little he has been backed over the past couple of years. You can't compete at the top if you sell top players and fail to replace them.
