If Asprilla can't be bothered to turn up for pre-season on time then he shouldn't be part of the squad. Chuck him in the U23s this season.
https://twitter.com/WatfordFC/status/1545120684589944832 He's arrived! Only a small clip and I am most definitely looking too much into it but love the way Edwards was with Asprilla here.
This guy is special. Please let us handle him properly. I’m sure Rob will as he comes across as a terrific man manager. But let’s hope the powers that be don’t make the wrong decisions over him and stifle him.
My goodness he looks young, then again so do policemen to me these days . Lets hope we actually give the lad some game time and see what he can do, hoping RE will do that a bit more than some, even in the Champ he'll still have the 4 crap games and you're out conundrum to live with though.
Thought it looked like he hadn't the first idea how to talk to someone via a translator! Probably not used to non English speaking players but he'll need to learn pretty quickly.
So a young Ashley Young?! "You make me feel so young, Ashley Young, You make me feel like spring has sprung..."
One sub appearance in the League Cup followed by a winter window loan to a second tier Spanish club whose captain and local legend plays in his position incoming!
For some reason I assumed he was a striker, glad to see he’s a midfielder as we need all the help we can get there. I actually think he may play a key role this season.
He has a lot of maturing to do in quite a short space of time. Glad Edwards is putting the arm around the shoulder. Hope Pedro takes him under his wing. Yaser needs to keep working hard and also in the gym and Joao is the ideal model to follow. Should be bled into the team with a few minutes to start with against tiring defences.
Started and then finished the move for his goal today. I think he could be a surprise option for Edwards, I'm sure none of us were expecting him to be involved much but the early signs look very promising.
Yeah loved that , dropping deep , picking up the ball on halfway line, beat a man and then sprint into box to finish it off
He actually replied to the club posting a video of his goal on Facebook. Think that's the first time I've seen a WFC player respond on one of the club's FB posts.
There was definitely flashes of quality and looks stronger than I hoped for. He is certainly going to get chances.
The little drop of the shoulder and the quick ball over the top to Bayo yesterday was very classy. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he's in contention to start a week Monday, depending on whether Sarr and Dennis are still around.
