Both second messages contain a lot of waffle, whoever's writing them. I don't see how viewing CB was strategic in any way, it was a punt. There's a lot of unnecessary justification in both messages - classic sign of a liar.

Pretty obvious Cassetti's Beard is good I reckon, probably with no special role. Someone from team evil would've at least tried to plead their case. Only exception would be if he's the traitor and knows the only other name in the frame is a wolf. If he's evil then the real Seer has to view Harrow tomorrow...

I wasn’t sure either but then CB’s defence was pretty lame. Convinced he was guilty by the time he had defended himself.

Sorry all T20 blast match started at 7 so only just got home. Post incoming.

 

Another day through and no sign of rescue yet mused wfcmoog as he stared out to see towards the horizon. The waves gently lapped at his feet, and he wiggled his toes until his feet had sunk beneath the sandy surface. It was kind of liberating being stranded here he admitted. The lack of food wasn’t ideal, neither was the company, and to be honest the murders were a little bit scary but it was peaceful most of the time. He did miss his wifes cooking though, god what he wouldn’t do for a bite of her famous steak and ale pie right now. He licked his lips.

The bell rang and Moog awakened from his reveries turned away from the sea and walked over to the other survivors. They had been working hard all day erecting a large bonfire with a spit over the top. It was hoped that the fire would act as a signal for any passing ships, but the spit had been an added as an afterthought.

The villagers circled around their chosen victim. Cassetti’s Beard stood shaking in the middle of the circle. ‘Come on shipmates, give me a chance, ‘Cassetti’s Beard whimpered. ‘We’re not on a ship,’ With A Smile chuckled, ‘and we are definitely not your mates!’ Cassetti’s Beard fell to his knees shaking. Skyla came up behind him and grabbed both of his wrists before using a length of rope to them together. She then did the same to his ankles. HarrowOrn and AshdonWFC then threaded a length of wood between the rope and lifted Cassetti’s Beard into the air. They carried him the short distance and placed him onto the spit.

‘Come on please don’t do this guys! I promise I’ll keep watch every night, I won’t let anymore of us die.’ tonycotonstache stepped forwards with a flaming torch in his hand, and chucked it into the base of the bonfire. Cassetti’s Beard swore and frantically tried to blow out the torch but he was too far away and before long the flames took hold. He screamed in pain as the flames began to lick his body. Cassetti writhed and cursed but to no avail, and his screams only became louder. Some of the survivors turned away, horrified at the sight but equally at the horrendous smell. Cassetti’s Beard screamed one last scream before the air was snatched from his throat, and he died. The survivors raised the spit higher out of the flames, to allow the meat to cook properly.

Cassetti’s Beard was dead. Cassetti’s Beard was GOOD.
