Yes - got called out in the West Indies over it. Shame as he started well last summer despite the off field social media issue. But I fear is doesn't matter who is bowling for us because our batting will be so fragile it won't get us in games at all.
Made of the right stuff. Unfortunately all these guys who have a bit of a competitive edge to them also have issues that come with that. Hales, Stokes, Robinson etc.
Matthew Potts to make his debut . Good luck to him . Least he has two old heads to help him out! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/61657181
It's going to be great to see Broad and Anderson again. Can't be too many summers left with them both in the side so I'm going to enjoy watching them, no matter how bad our batting will be
England toiling in the field already this morning with the old guard back bowling. Only managed to take 4 wickets in the first hour.
Typical England . Excellent bowling effort but still might find ourselves behind after the 1st innings !
NZ 3 down for 35. Not been able to see much of the actual game but is this down to good bowling on a tricky pitch or some rank bad batting too?
3 wickets in 3 balls in a Broad over...caught wicketkeeper, run out from 3rd slip, bowled off stump....boring old staid Test cricket, eh?
Particularly irritating given working from home I'd earmarked a day of watching us bat. Never as much fun watching us bowl (other than 1st innings last game) given there are only 10 moments to celebrate in an innings.
Perfectly poised for final day. 3 quick wickets and a win could be on the cards. Another 75 runs from the last 3, and a chance for NZ to put pressure on and push to level the series.
