Who did she play for?

 

She played/acted for my ex-wife and was constantly looking to transfer her back to Liverpool where she lived ! (had to mention her given I'd used the phrase "relative-hating").

 

Careful - it's proper hot! We go to Andalusia regularly but stay in the hills (Sierra de Aracena) about 90 minutes outside Seville, which is always a good few degrees cooler but still very warm even in May or September. I believe a good number of Sevillanos decamp to the hills in August.
Other places I would recommend are Cadiz, Jerez and Arcos de la Frontera and, further east, Cordoba.

 

I spent a week at a research centre in the hills on a University field trip and it’s one of my favourite places I’ve been to. It was in Feb so mild but it had an appealingly bleak beauty in between the villages and places of interest. I’ve spent ages looking for an old notebook trying to find the name of one of the villages we visited, it was basically a lush green paradise on the side of a hill sheltered in the mouth of a cave with a stream flowing through the middle, it was beautiful.

Always wanted to go back and stay in the middle of nowhere and also visit Cadiz.

 

Cordoba is even hotter in the summer than Seville - their climate is sort of continental like Madrid. Their winters unlike most in the Mediterranean are amazing if this is anything to go by - just the place to escape the gloom and cold of Northern Europe if you don't want your winters to be too summery:

Kick off half an hour late now, the 2 hour build up was intolerable as it was.

 

You’d think, given their history, there would be more criticism of their drunken ticketless fans trying to storm football stadiums. But they all seem to think it’s a right laugh.

I’m glad they postponed the game, but it’s a bit unfair on Madrid whose preparation is being disrupted at no fault of their own.

Not watching the game but it looks like Liverpool are doing an impressive job so far in not even allowing Madrid a shot on goal while creating plenty of chances of their own.

 

Diaz looks average when he isn't playing against Kiko Femenia or Sam Byram.

I think I'd have given a goal. Casemiro played it onto Konate, who then played the ball deliberately and it then deflected off a teammate back towards Benzema.

 

That should have been a goal? If it didn't hit Liverpool player it could have been a goal, so isn't that touch intentional? If he had passed to Benzema then it's offside, but this imo was a completely legit goal.
