Hideous experience this is. The natives are making this a deeply unpleasant event for Huddersfield,as we all know.
Never understood why their home kit is a deep orange colour. It looks like somebody knocked over a crate of Tango.
This half Huddersfield look as neat and tidy as Jurado in his pomp… and with the end product to match. Toothless so far.
Have Luton got out of their half since half time ?! Mind you as UEA says Huddersfield hardly had a shot .
If that’s the 3rd best the Championship has to offer I don’t think we should have much to fear coming down.
Luton seemed to settle for a draw and probably hope to nick in in Yorkshire. No doubt Jones will say they would have won though has they got the penalty (totally ignoring the fact Huddersfield could have had one too)
Two woeful sides. I am confident our patched up stiffs side from the other night would steamroller both these.
I don't like it, and I normally like the colour orange, and you've explained for me why - it looks like it's not quite red while still being loud. The Netherlands kit is much more appealing.
Different situation here though, Huddersfield never really looked like getting automatic and are just happy to have done as well as they have with zero expectation and ended the season in great form (reminds me a bit of us in 1998/99). Luton have wobbled a bit lately while not "scraping" into the play-offs - they were pretty much assured of a place weeks ago and as it turned out didn't have to get anything on the last day to even retain their place in them, let alone get in them. (A prime example of what you describe is Wolves losing to Norwich in the semis in 2001/02 after they'd thrown away a huge lead to be pipped to automatic by their great rivals West Brom.) The result wasn't a surprise to me. That said, the scum could still scrape a 1-0 win or get through on penalties after disrupting Huddersfield's more free-flowing style of football.
They’ve changed it a lot over the years, with the hideous orange coming and going. Used to be white with black shorts, which is much smarter.
Who are we supporting in Sheffield United-Forest? Regardless of whatever plans Forest have for Zinckernagel, I suppose they're probably more likely to stop the scummers
I think so. I don’t know how bad the injuries are, but Sheff U are completely devoid of strikers today.
Seem to rely on Billy Sharp basically. Others out long term (and not that good ) What happened to Brewster they paid £23 million for ?!
Looking at this the orange sort of 'ebbed and flowed' in the modern era. Reading the earlier history they mention "St John's College". The only St John's College I know of in **** is a 6th form 'unit' attached to a school for children with severe LDs that's quite modern. I know St John's College Cambridge has scarlet as their rowing colour (Lady Margaret Boat Club) - I see that very early scum kits were red. Doe the scummers have a Cambridge link (just so I can detest them a little more)?
It looks like Sheffield United are on course to have the worst record in the play-offs in all three divisions of the Football League, with nine attempts and zero successes. Preston had the same record before finally ending their hoodoo on being promoted back to the Championship in 2015.
Forest are looking like they did before they blew second place. I highly expect them to get to the final - Sheff United is a decent away trip next season. Downside is we may have to let go of Zinc, who is a capable Champ player.
Sheffield United will be glad they are still in the tie . Forest certainly had the chances to score more .

Credit to the lad, it's not an easy thing to do especially when your somewhat in the public eye. I wish him the best. I came out to my parents when I was 19 and they were fully on my side as it being my choice. I'm happy with who I am, and I really hope fans' of Blackpool can understand the same for this lad.
Yes, well done to him. I’m sure his team mates and the Blackpool fans will be supportive, particularly as he is a young player, so he will be able to ride out the online stuff. The key is that other gay players follow his lead soon so that he is not the only one ‘out’ for too long.
Our son came out at 16. You could physically see the weight lifting from his shoulders. I hope we as parents as been supportive as much as we possibly can. I'd say the majority have been very supportive but it only takes one who doesn't accept to throw a spanner in the works. Is there anything you wished your parents had said or done? Even though they're supportive.
Not particularly. They left me to my own devices on that front. Pretty open about it actually, if I wanted some advice or someone to talk to about it they always lent an ear. I do understand what you mean though, I went to Watford Grammar School for Girls and some of the bullying their was terrible. I remember one girl who was bullied for having a white and pink bow in her hair. Childish is not the word to attribute to bullies in my view.
