I did that as soon as I saw who was out 'injured' the other day. Easy money. I really want to watch this, it's got car crash potential. Should be funny in a morbid kind of way.
Haven't been following at all this week, what the actual **** is that lineup. Where's Sarr, Dennis, King?
People will defend this and call it pragmatism I see it as symptomatic of the horrendous way we do business and our priorities. We sign punts of deals with clauses that we then prioritise escaping from over having a good team. Even when relegation wasn't confirmed, we chose to not use Etebo to avoid whatever clause we agreed to in the summer. Around 1 in 3 of our signings were sent back, sidelined, ostracized, sent to America before the season even ended. I'll give that window an A-
The stadium looks very empty, even arrogant Mr Pozzo and his bull-shitting sidekick can't miss it. Good work by all involved.
I'm doing my part. Went for a run round Ricky Aquadrome instead and swallowed about 8 flies. **** this club.
I still don't understand how Sarr has been starting Kalu all this while Sent from my AUM-L29 using Tapatalk
The line up suggests Woy has been told to lose the game. If Everton went down they'd almost certainly take one of the promotion slots next season. Ultra pragmatic from Gino. Would be so ironic if we draw or win. That would be peak Watford: lose 11 home games in a row when trying to win, then end the run the 1 time we try to lose!!
Swallowed the flies by accident as part of your run, or intentionally as it's less torturous than watching Watford play?
These could also just be a lot of the players playing for their futures, with the rest of our key players for next season (and our saleable players) being wrapped in cotton wool? With JP being an exception given that we have no other fit strikers (and he could still do with more match experience).
In fairness we’ve not been too bad. Masina however has been beyond awful. Can see why Everton are struggling
Considering what side is out, we did ok first half. But it's the sort of game you want to take a pillow to so far. No shots on target, but Gosling managed to hit Jupiter with his shot near the end.
1 or 2 nutmegs in that first half (depending on the exact classification requirements). Is that the record broken?
Ive enjoyed that half more than most this season. Some decent interplay against an awful Everton side. Massina is one of the worst players I’ve seen you have to be here to believe the toxic atmosphere
To think I would only have had an 8 hour return journey to see this live. I'm gutted that I'm only listening to the commentary.
Mind you... as someone who lives in their catchment area... I'm consoled by the prospect of Leeds going down.
How did we manage that? A rare clean sheet - first at home all season. Edwards already working his magic !
