I watched the second half and that was the worst performance I've seen in many years from any side by forest, and I've seen us most weeks this season. Garner is piss poor, they can have Zinckernagel for a tenner.
Class goal from Muff that. When was the last time we scored a cleverly worked set-piece?! The only benefit of Muff going up is it means we don't have to play them again next season, plus hopefully the season again after that if we manage to change places with them once more.
Zinc was good in the first half. Garner is still not convincing though. We never should have signed him last season and I can't believe some Utd fans reckon he's good enough to play for them next season.
Thought Zinckernagel was really good in that first half, but they were all rancid in the second, as if they collectively realised where they were
Fair play to Cook for playing on - guess it helped he knew his Dad would be ok. https://twitter.com/SteveCook28/status/1521607908408111105?t=38mGlS0AjCYQBl54U1eDsQ&s=19
Aimed at us after Kabasele did it to them last season ? https://mobile.twitter.com/Sam_ucko/status/1521611951461351428
A more than fair owning. Well deserved and we should take it with the humour that the players involved did last season. But oh no, anyone who gets a little upset or cornered online has to throw out the ‘you’re rattled’ defence. Lol. They look rattled, that’s for sure. I did learn today that it’s Lerma and not Danjuma who is the ‘local man’ though. Glad I didn’t have to do a Bournemouth match preview and get that wrong, I’d have to accuse all the people correcting me of being rattled.
Thought that Forest did not control the nerves, they allowed Bournemouth to out perform them right from the start. Fair play to Bournemouth who have improved massively in their second Championship season following relegation a good omen for us, that all may not be lost if we don’t bounce back. Forests performance might be a bad omen for the play offs. I have a sneak feeling that Huddersfield will come through to clinch the third spot. Personally always like Huddersfield and Forest as away trips. Having already lost others like Peterborough and Derby that I rate highly, I suppose I just got to hope Middlesbrough sneak into sixth and win the final.
I've watched Forest twice in recent weeks and they looked clueless when teams shut them down and got in their faces. ***** and AFC B did this, albeit I didn't see the first half last night where all agree they were the better team. I would fear for them in the away leg, especially if they drew ***** again or Mill Wall. Udders going up would be good as it's a nice town I think and I've always liked the ground. ABF!
Actually stunned by that - I really am. We are still in their heads aren't we? It's nothing more than a banter rivalry between the clubs anyway.
Congratulations to Bournemouth. I have no issues with them. As long as the scum don't go up I couldn't care less
I think Djed Spence seems the best prospect at Forest. Can't believe they only have him on loan from Boro. He'll surely be playing in the PL next season one way or another.
Not Championship related but John Yems won’t be working in football again if these allegations are true . So outdated and appalling views. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...ems-accused-enforcing-racial-segregation.html
Out of interest, what are your criteria for a good away trip? For me it’s the whole package with the potential to make a weekend of it, not just the match. Huddersfield is probably right at the top of my list: lovely ground with an excellent atmosphere when it’s rocking and the beautiful Peak District round the corner.
I quite liked Brighton away. Nice beach, good attractions and a fair amount to do before/after the game. Last time I went was our promotion season, we had the early kick off and won 2-0 (Vydra and Tubby) - remember sat in the pub a 15.00 preying the other results would go our way. They did.
Agree. I saw what Lerna posted, chuckled and thought fair play. Just a bit of reciprocal light humour surely?
I’m not even convinced it was a dig at us, it was originally their joke and had nothing to do with us, Kabbs used it against them which was obviously very definitely a dig at them, even if they’re now doing it back I’m not sure how anyone could deem it sad/pathetic etc. yet it wasn’t when we did the same thing 12 months ago?
We could be playing at Adams Park next season having been denied the opportunity last one - 1-0 up in their Bucks derby against Franchise FC. Their football is pretty grim to watch by all accounts though, they got promoted in 2020 with only 24% possession in the play-off final and they are one of the worst teams in League 1 for completed passes and passing accuracy - clearly they have strengths elsewhere that are effective in that division! Also their manager looks like a strange cross between Thomas Frank and Robert Plant.
We saw how tough they can be last season. Nicked a 1-1 draw there when we were probably 2nd best as the defence couldn't cope with the "Beast" Have a certain way of playing which upsets a lot of people as it's very effective.
So far Reading are showing why they are down there. Nobody is helping one another, full of selfish individuals - sound familiar?
It's a bit of a dead rubber for Fulham, a bit like our away game at Brentford tail end of last season. Sheff Utd do look very good though. Reading doing us no favors so far in helping to knock Lootwon out of the P/O picture.
