I know relegation sucks, but in basic terms, what's positive about being relegated? I can think of two...

    Youth getting a chance
Better chance to win a game

Which things can you lot think of, to make glum WFC fans feel a little bit more happy

Not spending 80% of our transfer budget on Mogi Bayat clients. In fact not buying any Mogi Bayat clients at all as he will disappear until the next time we get promoted.

True, with the crappy basic TV coverage on Sky with no replays and just one camera.

    More goals
A larger number of games where the outcome is far from certain/likely prior and during
No VAR (but otherwise awful officiating)

Might be easier to get to and away from games ?

Simply, more chance of 'youth' getting on the bench and maybe actually starting. Henry Wise would have more chance of getting a game, innit?

Instead of 'Academy Graduate' under my name could I have 'Uber Keine' just a German saying about being totally annoyed and pissed off. If not then 'Welsh 'Orn'

  20. I do love decent midweek night games under the floodlights but these are the ones I can't really go to anymore living to far away from Watford to get there in time after work and then back really late.

The likelihood of winning games is about it.

Youth won't necessarily get a chance, and those who do won't be academy players but those bought in (like Cucho and Pedro were). And we'll probably lose some of those.

Midweek games under the lights have a special feel to them, but I have too many commitments now (stupid adulthood) so will be unlikely to get to many.

The FL refs are appalling. They're bad enough in the PL, but at Championship level they're something else.

    I'd hate to go down.

The exciting thing about the Championship before was that we were improving, we had momentum and we were all excited about where it was going (let's gloss over Beppe's season). There was a buzz at the club, the stadium was rocking, we had a new stand, the novelty of a new singing section, a level of player we weren't used to, Almen Abdi. Now we can all see we're a bit lost, it won't be the same if we go down - there's not that excitement, more an acceptance that we can't go much further.

    Sorry to be a downer!

No Match of the Day "expert" analysis.

Not having to play Man City.....twice.

Not having to face the plastic fans of the top teams who have literally picked the teams they support simply because they are successful. In my experience, almost all fans outside the EPL support their local team or have some family connections to "their club". They support them despite the lack of success...i.e. they're proper fans.

Is the Football League Show (with Manish and Steve Claridge) still on? Worth going down just to watch such a top quality programme again

It was EFL on Quest the last few seasons (which has been really outstanding actually) but I think there’s meant to be a big broadcasting change next season for the highlights.

Better atmosphere at the Vic - we might actually score a goal. Cheaper away day tickets, no more plastic "big six" fan/club bias. No more VAR. No more Jug Ears, no more "we have to move your game because Sky said so..." Better competition overall - who dares win league. No Snake to contend with (he'll be getting battered in the Prem so we can all laugh).

    Yes ITV have the rights.
Colin Murray and a whole host of guests who do at least seem to do some research and watch teams unlike so many big name pundits only interested in a small number of teams .

Mid weeks tends to be a mix of female presenters as Skyla says

Yes they often have the NTT20 guys who are superb but even the ex pros they bring in (Sam Parkin, Jobi McAnuff and Liam Rosenior) are really thoughtful and thorough.

I guess you need to be more active to have a special 'club role'. I don't mind being an Academy Graduate, makes me feel young, it was nearly 30 years ago when I left university
