If I were Roy or Ray I would call a press conference and resign.
He has made a few oblique references to certain matters.
Talk the talk and walk out.
It can't be any fun for them, it's definitely not for us!

Say you're a Palace fan without saying you're a Palace fan.

    Just walk, Roy.

Genuinely think the club will do more damage than they realise if they keep him.

Was a horrible appointment - and whilst very little, if anything at all, about current mess is down to him, I think we could be feeling the effects of this appointment well into next season if he stays here and oversees the inevitable sleepwalk into relegation.

Problem is that given the inability of the players to actually give a shyt it doesn't really matter who the manager is

I genuinely think we should sack Roy and not replace him.

    There's no point

We could have a bucket of sheep slop sat in the dug out. Same result. Nobody in this squad gives a damn about this season. Get 11 fans' on the pitch - I reckon we would put
more heart into it than these mercenaries do.

Depends what fans are picked. Some of them are as mercenary as the players and have been bought by the club to be kept onside.

And not that I blame them, but the vast majority of fans at games seem apathetic about it all and would sooner just leave early than actually stick around and let those on the pitch and in charge know exactly what they think.

I really think fans should boycott the next home game. Have thousands of empty seats and show the players and owner exactly how you feel.

It doesn't really matter if he's here or not anymore

Gino has got to realise changing coaches every few months is the thing causing the most damage

Find someone in the summer, give them time, let them make mistakes, build something in the championship, and we'll get back up when the time is right

Spot on but with the debt needing to be repaid and parachute payments only lasting 2 years, the best guess has to be we’ll get more of the same.

    Exactly. Well said.

Will Gino do this? More chance of us signing Sterling and Kane in the Summer.

I will not go until I get a ****ing reply to my questions.
Or I see Pozzo change his ways.
I was a supporter but trust is like confidence,it takes a while to gain and is very easy to lose.
SPEAK Gino or better still change your ways.

Hmmm, they do different 'grades' of those Wilt***** Farm Foods. The ones that are complete, like in the picture, generally aren't too bad. However there are ones for the toothless dementia people that are pure mush.

Although it says something like 'Luxury fillet of cod mornay with sautéed potatoes and vegetables', what it actually is, is little piles of what looks like differently coloured mashed potato. You can guess which pile is which by whether it smells vaguely of fish for example, or by the colour - green must be supposed to be peas.

It's absolute crud and it's no wonder the oldies I have to spoon it to are mostly very unenthusiastic about it and tend to dribble a fair amount of it out again and down their front.

Today's wfc performance reminded me of what you find in the incontinence pad after they've eaten a few of these micro meals and had a good dose of Fybogel and laxatives.

Me and my old man have already started, it's genuinely a horrible day out in crap weather, why bother? We'll still probably go to away games, but they're more enjoyable off the pitch to make up for it.

Another good win for Burnley tonight. No doubt Dyche would have been sacked by last September if Gino and Fuxbury were running them

Imagine thinking we were anything other than absolutely appalling tonight. Seriously, imagine being a professional footballer manager, watching that and thinking "oooh, we've been unlucky here". Insane.

    An utterly horrific appointment.

Bet the players were looking over at the touch line absolutely gutted to see Vieira in the opposite dugout. Imagine seeing that and wanting to play for a 74 year old man who hates attacking play

Tbh they would have probably got rid of him by now ..

After all Palace have actually only won 6 games despite appearing to be impressive.

Boycott Arsenal at home? You’ve got people on here begging for tickets as they are flying over for it. Absolutely no chance you’ll get fans missing the opportunity to see their favourite team play their second team live.

You've got to be impressed, really - the sheer range and breadth of profile of head coach that Gino has lured in and made to look (rightfully or not) like shambolic, incompetent figures, is quite breathtaking.

In just the past year we've gone from slightly chubby young blokes straight out of their 'Sports' PGCE to much-lauded elder statesmen of the game with five decades of experience in the role. Talk about versatility.

He literally doesn't care does he. I suppose that happens when you're 74, have come out of retirement and know you're only here until May.

I'm so glad I stayed off the forum last night as I was fuming after last nights result and might have said some things I would have regretted this morning as last night I was really tempted to throw in the towel last.

However having watched the game on Sky this morning, I can honestly say that despite the terrible defeat we were nowhere near as bad as the score line suggests. Therefore I still believe that with a little bit of luck, which has been sadly lacking of late IMO, we could yet get out of the **** we are currently in.

    • We were terrible.
    • We made no attempt to attack for the second home game in a row.
    • Luck has nothing to do with it and quite frankly it's a cop out to suggest it is.

Christ, I've just read this article because as ever despite being subscribed for some reason it never alerts me that a new Watford article is out

It already reads like Leventhal is laying the Pozzo propaganda ground for another sacking - it genuinely follows the same exact pattern as all the others -

Roy has zero connection with Watford or the fans. He's been here a couple of weeks and not even experienced some 'highs' which might bond us together. He's come in, been his usual grumpy old man self and will piss off again with a couple of million quid. I doubt he'll even remember us in a couple of years, when he looks back on his career.

I doubt many of us will remember much about Roy's tenure either.

    Memory is not Roy's strength!
Ask him if he remembers the John Ruskin Grammar song?
    He won't!

Roy embarrassed AL in his first interview by being sharp with him. I think that's behind the tone of his writing.

Sorry if you've posted elsewhere, but out of interest, what have you asked?

Good for you by the way, even if you never receive a reply (which unfortunately, is highly likely).
