Another player who is famous for being a bit of a kunt, stretching back to his idiotic behaviour in relation to the u-21 European Championship qualification period and the Swedish national team, if I am recalling it correctly. Sounds as Watfordy as can be.
Just because he isn’t good enough for PSG, one of the best teams in Europe and one of if not the most expensive teams in the world, doesn’t mean he’s not good enough for us.
Would love it if Sema went too. And WTE. And Gosling. And Tufan. The only thing better than watford strengthening is weakening those ****s at Udinese at the same time!
Like most players reported on here, i have absolutely no idea who he is, but that said he is a top score in scrabble so I’m in.
Much as I'll support any left back upgrading that means neither Masina nor Rose ever have to be seen again, I hope we're not concentrating on that one position, that we've already upgraded at the most cost to us of any, to the detriment of other areas that we could really also do with improving to give us that genuine chance of fighting to survive. The club will point to Kayembe in midfield, I'm sure, but I'm definitely in the camp that is incredibly dubious about him from everything we know, and goalkeeper is really, really vital. I know we're probably not even thinking about that position, but if so that could be what hamstrings us enough to go down by itself. My only hope is that we're targeting a loan, but frankly it's guaranteed at this point that we're going to have to play Bachmann in all three of these season-defining games next week, so we've already left it too late.
Still think a defensive midfielder is more important than anything else. I don't rate Bachmann or Foster a great deal, but we still dont really have an out and out defensive midfielder anywhere in the squad.
Yeah, given that Foster is at least weeks away from returning (and not good enough, but still nowhere near as contagiously calamitous as Bachmann) I think that they are equally essential signings, of which we might very well get neither. Again, we're essentially guaranteed to have neither for any of the three games that it very much seems will make or break our season, as least. This 'early business' is really starting to shape up as the 'we got rid of Deeney and Gray' of the winter window. Two out of three of these matches cannot be said to have been any surprise whatsoever, so there's no reason we had to go into them as still undercooked as we will do.
Retiring from football is the latest - apparently to be the new host of Gladiators. Indeed, he’s a Dedicated Follower of John Fashanu.
I could see him not starting till pre season in an evening kick off when he might come on at Sunset against Havant and Waterlooville. By god, I really had to force that one out.
Per BBC gosspip page Chelsea are interested in signing Paris St-Germain's French defender Layvin Kurzawa, 29, on loan but talks have not yet opened between the parties. (Fabrizio Romano on Twitter)
