What does ‘ready made’ mean? And there’s absolutely no guarantee he’s class. Plenty of reports to the contrary.
A bit passed it now as he is 34, but he's been one of the most underrated players in the PL the last 10 years. Nearly 200 United games and wanted by Man City and Arsenal. Instrumental for Leicester since joining them too. However I'll not get into a 'discussion' with you over it as we all know how those tend to go...
You two should start a podcast. Although with Watford Buzz, FTRE, our new BWO one and the impending effort from UEA and Chumlax, the market is getting swamped.
Di Marzio saying negotiations have started: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....alciomercato-watford-vida-news-8-gennaio-2022
If we do press ahead with this, does it suggest either a move to a back 3 is on the cards or there are concerns about Nkoulou's fitness. You would think Samir, Nkoulou, Sierralta (with WTE, Cathcart and Kaba in reserve) is enough centre backs if we are planning to continue with the back 4 even with the grave concerns about the quality of the 3 in brackets. I am very much unsure about this one. Seem a fair few Besiktas and Croatian fans say he is very much in decline now, and a 2.5 year contract could leave us in another Prodl, Britos, Kaboul situation.
We've got a lot of players who have played their most recent or their best football in a back 3 system, if we were a sensible club I'd say that's the route we're going down, but we're not a sensible club are we?
Makes you wonder what our ‘scouts’ actually see in these players who are universally thought of as ‘in decline’. Still, he’ll cost a tenner and keep the podders and Twitter suck ups happy so job done.
They think our world class medical system can rehabilitate them, just like they did with Deeney, Welbeck, Rose, Kucka etc.
I don't think Kucka would have been the worst signing if he was only expected to be used as an option off the bench. The problem is that he is starting almost every game and having to play 90 minutes. I think the fact that he still appears to be fitter than both Tufan and Louza probably says more about our scouting and S&C teams. Welbeck I guess was because they didn't want to admit that the contracts that they had signed Gray and Deeney to were total ******* madness and so they were forced into a "cheap" gamble on a striker. Rose baffles me.
Rose was always a risky gamble. The upside was that we could've got the player who was a top 6 left back and England international, however his warning signs were clear and so it has been proven. He's fat and appears to loathe playing football. It's not the worst signing we've made in the balance of probabilities, but added to the pile, it's another one of those that haven't worked out.
If we had a fairly good first choice LB I could just about have tolerated it, but when your first choice has already shown he is woefully inadequate it was an enormous gamble. Him being fat and hating football can hardly have come as a surprise - he has been that way for most of the last two years.
Yeah. It was hardly unforeseeable, however it still ranks behind some of the other unforgivable decisions that were and continue to be made by our shitstorm management team.
But apart from being four stone overweight, zero motivation, hating football, having a fight with a team mate, being paid a fortune, he's not too bad?!
There is an awful lot to criticise Rose for but I am 100% behind anyone punching Tufan. My fury today at Mike Dean not giving that bloke a second yellow was quickly calmed when he caught Tufan with a stray arm a few second later.
