I have received a letter from Lord Sainsbury with some kind vouchers for freebies (coffee beans, cheesecake and grapes) which have been duly collected. It is nice to go through the checkout and the total is £0.00. I'm not sure if these vouchers were a prize or not, but Lord Sainsbury's letter did tell me that I had achieved the rank of 17th most prolific purchaser of Solero Red Berries ice lollies from our local branch. Of course I'm bursting with pride and just waiting the call for the interview with our local paper. Has anyone else here been awarded a prolific purchaser rank by their supermarket?
I was the fifth most frequent purchaser of oak smoked ham and cheddar sandwiches at my local branch. Gawd bless yer, m'lud.
Amateur. Before the pandemic I was the 2nd most prolific purchaser of Peperoni pizza in my local Sainsburgs. Got squat from them for it though. These days Sainsburgs is a bit too high end for me.
Wow that's quite an honor congratulations Clive! I had no idea Supermarkets actually kept running tallies on who bought what down to the actual customer names.
Do you reckon they’ve sent a letter out saying ‘Dear sir, you bought more Durex lube and extra sofa tissues than any other customer in the area so with my congratulations, take this voucher’….?
I’m guessing they don’t let people know if they’re in the top ten for buying things like special brew, or own brand vodka?
Few people would have beaten me for M+S trifle eating in 2020. No, hear me out, it’s a meal. Haven’t fancied them this year.
My wife received her Sainsburys vouchers - #1 consumer of polo mints apparently. Personally I hate the damn things
