As someone who works in the music industry, I think I have got my message across.

 

I guess it’s true what they say about money not being able to buy taste.

I mean, champagne toast? Surely it’ll just be soggy? Ridiculous.

 

I find it really hard to skim read that when it's presented like that, reminds me of those interminably long descriptions on some YouTube videos, especially those from years when social media has been a big thing.

 

I quite liked Goodbye Yellow Brick Road when I listened to it once (certainly more than I expected given it's a double album with a lot of piano rock, and I used to really hate the title track when it was used as a jingle back in the days when you were booking tickets over the phone) but not enough to explore more of Elton's oeuvre. Like a couple of 80s songs (I'm Still Standing and I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues) a lot though.

 

Tiny dancer is his best song by far for this critic.

Yep. I got one email (we have 3 STs) but with up to 4 tickets per code, that will do us nicely thanks.

Haha no chance, meaning overly expensive. If they're more than £60 a pop then I'm not buying, (including the TM fee for doing sod all).

 

Just got the texts - yet as per usual with Ticketmaster, the event info page has everything but the price listed.

Ridiculous how they withhold information and just expect people to have the readily available cash on demand.

Interestingly it does say you will automatically be assigned the ‘best available’ tickets - surely that can’t be right? You must be able to choose your price bracket!

 

I was told 'from 45 quid' but I don't work in the industry so take that with a pinch of salt.

Rumours are this is another cash for players EJ gig. By my reckoning then if it's for defenders and our owners are buying it'll be a free gig for us. Nice

 

I've paid more for a good 'handling' to be fair.

 

Ticketmaster's lowest price for the Ashton Gate concert is £320. Let's hope Elton loves Watford fans more than Bristol City's.

 

For that price I'd expect him to sing in my own house. Outrageous

 

Up to £100 a pop my limit. Will not be paying more than that.

 

This is gonna be the next outrage isn’t it? Elton tries to fleece the fans and the stadium is full of non-Watford fans.
