So perhaps our 5 most important players now injured ? Foster, Nkoulou. Sierralta, Sarr and Dennis FFS.....
Gino will probably improve the defence in January when Sarr & Dennis go to the AFCON and our team will go the opposite way.

WTE and Cathcarthorse playing. I feared the worst and it was. It is important that we compete with the teams around us, but we can't. We have scored two goals away from home, but our defence is bloody awful. Dreadful at the back, but we all know that WTF and Cathcarthorse are not at Premier league level.

What is there to say, really - it's unforgivable that WTE is allowed to take the pitch as a starting centre back in the Prem, and Cathcarthorse is barely any further behind. Masina is still a huge liability, and obviously the goalkeeping situation is itself far from ideal. Even though I imagined our defence would cost us in my post earlier, I didn't quite expect it to be this shockingly, openly, pathetically, criminally, thoughtlessly, uncaringly bad. When you see how our attack can play, and how Claudio has managed to instil a positive attitude and a desire to fight and work in attack from the first second of the game, it makes it ten times more mind-blowingly annoying. Leicester were absolutely there for the taking, and we were playing well - the better team. Then the defence are asked to do their job. Not in a complex, 'stop a revolving front three of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar'' way - in the most simple, basic, professional way possible. But no; that was too much for them. And so the pattern of the game was set. If you were one of our attackers, you'd be going mental, and asking why you should bother when there's no chance your efforts will be rewarded, because our defence will just hand the opposition one more goal. It's EMBARRASSING. We have the second most productive all-round attacker in the league playing for us, and we're getting banged by a dreadful Leicester team/performance and grubbing around hoping to avoid being sucked to the bottom of the league. It's pitiful, and so far beyond belief that anyone can attempt to defend the Proper Business brothers' defensive policy/recruitment at this point. It was several years ago too, but now it's pure gaslighting.
