Our previous match.... Yikes, what a totally awesome performance against a PATHETIC Man Utd. Poor Manchester United BOSS Olay Gunn Are SOL-Scar got given the SACK because we made his EXPENSIVE team play worse than BUSHEY under 12's reserves. Let's hope we are to begin a MASSIVE HUGE LONG run of AMAZINGLY MAGICAL form, which could take us all the way UP to 16th or even 15th in this DIVISION by the END of the season. Leicester's last game... It would be CRUEL to judge Leicester on a match against the BEST team in the whole WORLD!!! Chelski. But, this season has been kinda lacking in PASSION by the boys in blue. From a FANTASTIC season (20/21) their fans MUST have expected the FOXES to be much better than the 12th position they are currently SITTING on. They face Legia WARSAW in the Europa League on Thursday night needing a win to STAY in the competition. This match is PRIOR to their match against the MiGHTY Hornets; which should be of BENEFIT to us on Saturday afternoon. Some Foxes fans are SAID to be after Brendan Rodgers' head if they lose vs LEGIA (Polish for legs) Famous fans... EPIC band Kasabian with this EMOTIONAL clip from the KING POWER stadia Kasabian here from 2010 with their BAD GIRLS like video of the AMAZING song LSF (lost souls forever) Other famous Leicester fans include... the most FAMOUS fox puppet ever...Basil Brush the sexy MILF ITV newsreader...Julie Etchngham the REPTILIAN weirdo...David Icke the MAGICAL entity that is...Gary Linekar the BEIGE Coronation Street star...Roy Cropper the TV chief with a CRAZY laugh...Rusty Lee Predtiction...Leicester 1 Watford 1
@Klein Lust I edited your thread due to Sky changing the fixture date and time. Great read and well done. Most of us would take a point here despite Leicester being beatable on current form, but Watford never seem to follow up a good win with another one. So avoiding defeat here would be another point at the very least before two of our hardest home games back to back. I would probably go with the same side that hammered Manure, but if Sarr is out then we may have to play Kucka (who will be back) or even Tufan on the wing. We are more than good enough to get something out of this game, and unlike what happened after we spanked Everton, I think Uncle C will take nothing less than a good performance. 1-1
We’re ******* crap. And yes Kasabian are **** but I think that is offset by the County’s excellent meat and dairy products. A lump of Stilton or a juicy banger would offer our goal better protection than Ryan Bertrand or Jannick Vestergaard do currently.
I thought it was odd that you signed a couple of players you stuck 9 past. Decent enough players but I'm sure you had ambitions of another European finish this season and they never seemed at that level.
True. But Pedro is more of an impact sub atm and one to use when opposition legs get tired. I would agree on Cucho though, better option than the two mentioned, more direct and gets a shot off.
Last time we went to your place (think it was under Mullins), we lost to a dodgy penalty and a last minute strike. I think despite that it was quite even. You almost certainly have better quality players and losing 3-0 to a side who may well win the league is not a bad thing, they are class atm and ripping everyone (bar Burnley???). I think it's going to be close - you need the points as much as we do, Rodgers is a great coach despite your poor start to the season. This is going to be settled by the odd goal I think. I would not be upset with a 0-0 though.
I think whether you're of the opinion that they're slightly more effective coming on later in a game over playing a full 90 or not, a coach would have to be clinically insane to choose to repurpose coming-back-from-injured/ancient central midfielders who have never played on the wing in their lives over deploying one of the several promising attacking players/wingers who we have included in our squad for essentially this exact purpose - one of whom just scored their first Premier League goal against Manchester United in literally our last game.
Impact sub or not (not sure a couple of decent sub appearances means he shouldn’t start!), surely it’s better to start an actual wide forward in that position than either one of our underwhelming CM’s in Tufan or Kucka?! There’s just no way Ranieri would do that. I think he’d sooner change shape than attempt to shoe-horn someone in who shouldn’t be there. I think the ‘Masina/Rose vs Liverpool’ experiment will have made sure of that.
I won’t bore everyone with the finer details but the recruitment under Rodgers’ and his useless mate Lee Congerton has been pretty bad.
I think you’ll beat us without too much fuss, we’re incredibly easy to score against at the minute and the general feeling I get from Rodgers and the players is that they’re a bit fed up. Brendan even had a nibble at the fans after the Chelsea game which is never a good sign. I’ve a distinct feeling of ‘Do I not like that’ when I think about us playing a team like Watford at the minute. You’re off the back of a big win and we’ll be playing a crunch game in the EL on Thursday night.
We are very consistently inconsistent, after beating Utd I can see us losing this by about 3 or 4 or it being a high scoring 4-4 thriller or a lame 0-0 damp squid (sic)
Needless to day, this is a must win game. We have to beat these because A) they're crap and 2) to get revenge from the way they celebrated after Muzzy Izzet relegated us.
I always enjoy Lesta away. A nice city which is big enough to have all the amenities, but not so big that it's all dangerous and druggy/stabby. I particularly like that long road leading in from the south where you come in to Lesta. There are some really good shops and takeaways. It's very cosmopolitan. I also like that big pub at the top of the high street with a music venue attached. Can't remember the name, but the food is cheap and there's loads of it. Also liked the traditional pub - Black horse? Black Swan? Black something? Can't remember, but they serve the full range of Everards bitters, which are so excellent and more-ish, that I vaguely remember being semi-urinally incontinent for one 2-0 defeat up there.
Fair enough, each to their own. I'm not a massive fan of Kasabian, they are simply bouncy bouncy singalong at best. What's your two favourite artists RS2? Mine would be Joy Division and Nine Inch Nails.
Probably no better time to be playing Leicester. Poor form, manager with integrity looking for a way out, Tielemans injured for the first time in years, must-win Thursday Europa League match and of course Ranieri returning to Leicester for the first time.
If we lose and Napoli get a point against the bottom team in the group we’re as good as out with a game still to play. **** or get off the pot time for Honest Brendan in Europe. To repeat a joke that I and many before me have already made, if this bloke had been in charge of Brexit the UK would have been out of Europe by Xmas 2016.
I actually would be fascinated to hear the finer details of this, though I appreciate those bored might include you in the telling, so if you feel like it be as brief as possible; bullet points, whatever, but any insight at all I would totally take.
I didn't even really think of that last point! Did Ranieri return to Leicester with Fulham? Would happily chop your arm off for a point here tbf, even though Lesta are on poor form, we very rarely back up a big win with anything other than a listless performance!
I don't know what it is, but Jesus Christ we don't half score some absolute pearlers against them, in any other season, Vydra's goal against them would be a GOTS contender, yet it was only the 2nd best goal we scored against them that day and the 3rd best against them that season! Pereyra's and Dawson's weren't bad neither!
Good to hear that Leicester fans are turning against the hugely overrated shyster Rodgers. Hopefully we can give them another reason to be suspicious of him on Sunday
Vardy runs onto a through-ball. Foster misjudges, rushes out, and goes to ground. Vardy goes down. Ref points to spot. Vardy converts. Every. Single. *******. Time.
We had an amazing track record under Pearson’s recruitment team and that’s something that Claudio obviously benefitted from too because the chief scout and his team stayed after Pearson was sacked. Said chief scout moved on after the league win. Rodgers brought his mate Lee Congerton with him who was already regarded as a bit of a joke at Sunderland and Celtic. - Failed to buy a competent left back after selling Chilwell for a lot of money - Failed to do better for a right winger than the below average Ayoze Perez. - Replaced a very a successful and long established medical team. - We now have constantly have injuries to key players. - Filled the vacant left back spot (only decent option has a long term injury obvs) with Bertrand who was available on a free and worked with Rodgers and Congerton yonks ago. His legs have gone and had a bad dose of Covid in the summer. - Fofana (a good Congerton signing) got injured and we panicked and replaced him with the injured and utterly **** Vestergaard. - Just generally spent money on players that have added nothing to the team like Lookman, Under, Praet, Bertrand, Vestergaard and Perez.
