A big shock losing a friend and fellow hard core Watford fan. We did many really great trips following the Orns home and abroad. RIP mate. There is a fund raising site trying to raise £3000 to return Ashley to his home town Exeter. Apologies as I don’t know how to share it on here.
If you copy and paste the link in a DM to me on here, I will post the link on here for you mate. Sorry for your personal loss pal. My condolences.
Thank you Burnsy. It’s www.justgiving under Help Mark Ellam. Mark is an army buddy https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/mark-ellam-1?utm_id=102&utm_term=Yje22EJ39. He is raising funds as Ashley died without any family in London.
Condolences @Eastcoastorn . Really sad news for you and I am sure he really appreciates everything you did for him in life. xx
Recognised the name so had a quick look and certainly knew the chap to have a quick chat with. My condolences to his family
I hope the memories of all those great trips help a little towards easing the pain of losing a friend, Eastcoastorn, and please accept my condolences. SCG
Thanks for publishing this very sad news. I remember Ash and like a few others had various chats with him over many years-a very distinctive voice. I also hope that both the responses to the Just Giving page and posters on here paying their respects, give those closer to him, like you, some comfort at such a sad time. Please accept my condolences. RIP Ash.
Further on from this, I've heard today that Kev Norman died at the weekend. I don't think I've been to an away game where he wasn't there and I'm sure a few on here knew him. Very sad news. RIP Kev
