From a personal point of view it’s frustrating this wasn’t done in the summer, a nice bloke sure and it was great that he got us promoted, but the warning signs were there all along, and that’s ignoring his lack of experience as a glaring one on its own. If we didn’t keep Joka on, it makes no sense at all to have kept Munoz on. Loyalty is all very well, but Gino really needs to get his clarity back when it comes to things like this. In the end it has done nobody any favours at all keeping Munoz on, there are no winners and he’ll still get stick from the media etc. for letting him go anyway.
Who'd have thought just putting 11 players on the pitch, cross your fingers and hope Sarr can do something was not tactical genius.
Wherever you are in the world, apparently you’re never more than 100 metres away from an ex Watford Head Coach.

I think it's something that's been building for a while. Now, in hindsight, it's clear they should have hired a more experienced guy for the Premier League, but were probably in two minds and wanted to give him a chance. But being chirpy doesn't mean you are a tactical master.....which he clearly wasn't at this stage of his development. The Premier League is no place for a rookie manager with a weak squad. It won't last long......and it didn't. The end result was obvious. They must get the next appointment right. Diego Martinez has been heavily implied. He's certainly got a better CV and would be a step up and would probably give us a better chance, but elevating us from shambolic may not be quite enough of a lift. We need to be elevated to a much higher level in order to stay up, and I'm not convinced the squad is strong enough, whoever comes in. Now injuries are kicking in, and the policy of signing only one credible central striker and no central defenders looks even more ludicrous. The board have only themselves to blame. Keeping faith in someone who has no experience and underinvesting in the squad. They've got what they paid for.....so they shouldn't really be surprised they've had to yet again be the first club to sack a head coach. We deserve all the media bombs we'll be getting from here on in.
OMG I've just noticed this! Wow. I was expecting a new thread about it, hence why I probably just scrolled past the post by @wfcSinatra Best of luck to you Munoz. Thank you for getting us up, changing our style and giving the Prem a crack. I hope you have a good career and putting "Got Watford into the Premiership" will look good on your CV.
Infact most of their fans support him and think we are a joke. https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/144251-watford-sack-manager/
I wonder what faceless , mumbling , gibbering , homogenous, production line Spanish coach we re lining up as replacement now .
So it was likely known at the club that he was about to be sacked even before the Leeds game, which could partly explain why the team played as if they were shell-shocked yesterday as per vs Huddersfield under Ivic.
I cannot stand Owen as a pundit. He was a good footballer (before he married the treatment table) but he must have one of the most boring voices i've ever heard.
Exactly what my mate said yesterday. He's watched the last two games with me and said, firstly you're not playing as a team and can't expect individuals to win a game for you. Pretty much nailed it I reckon.
He's 11/10 and by far the shortest odds. I've made some good money this weekend so far on Watford losing and Xisco being sacked. I'm hoping for the hattrick .
To be honest he seems a great guy, but he just isn't a Premier league manager. We will probably get relegated no matter who we bring in but we had no hope with Munoz.
A couple of reasonable responses but mainly delusion. One of them asks how we’re supposed to build something? What exactly are they building towards that we don’t exceed more often than not every season?
