    Yes agreed.

Must be more to it than scoring an OG.

WTE wasn’t dropped after his error which was easily avoidable.

Out of interest, do you genuinely believe this?

If he has deliberately selected Cathcart over Sierralta then he should be sacked instantly. I presume this can’t be the case.

TBF, you may well say that Cathcart and Cleverley aren't the right players to be starting at this level - but are Norwich "at this level" either?

Let's face it, on early season form, unless there are three teams scoring very low points below us, staying up already looks a tall order. Beat the crappest five at home and draw with them away is twenty points. Another six draws and two or three wins is about our limit, unless something unexpected happens with our play. 32-35 points and an arse as squeaky as a barn door in a breeze at the seasons end.

I expected us to be relegated this season, but I at least thought we’d give it a go.

If Norwich lose to this abysmal side, they’re absolutely guaranteed to be relegated.

Sierralta would surely be on the bench if fit. I can't imagine that Munoz, who preferred Sierralta last season, doesn't see what we see.

To be fair, the reaction on social media to the line up has been pretty resoundingly poor.

Even the permanently bent over, apologist, dribbling, happy clappers that make up such a huge portion of our fan base can see how pathetic that midfield and the inclusion of Cathcart is.

    That team gives me nightmares.

Xisco hasn't got a clue what his best 11 is and it'll cost him his job.

I'll change my prediction to 3-0 Norwich today.

I would have thought that a NI regular international defender and a former England International with 13 caps probably are 'at this level'.

They are certainly worrying comments - because picking players based on experience is fine if they can back it up with ability. Cathcart doesn’t have that…yet suddenly seems undroppable for Xisco. That said, I’d rather him than Kabasele so I will err on the side of positivity and assume Sierralta is injured. Because it’s unfathomable if Sierralta is 4th choice CB all of a sudden.

I don’t actually mind the team today and am
glad Kiko is back in. I just hope he hasn’t already pre-programmed his substitutions. Xisco needs to show he can coach at this level today.

I always like it when everyone predicts we'll lose, because then everyone's really happy if we win.

By contrast, when everyone expects us to win and we don't, everyone gets *really* pissedoff.

By the way, Xisco seems like a nice chap. Shall we leave the 'incompetent' and 'sack him' talk until 4:50?

Being a regular international for a lower international level side doesn’t automatically make you capable at PL level. And Cleverley got the last of those 13 caps how long ago?

Fair enough if you think they are good enough - but the reasoning you’re using is very poor.

I mean, it's clear to me that Bachmann has been dropped rather than injured, but would Xisco really drop both of them for one mistake? One mistake where Sierralta arguably wasn't at fault?

With the side he has selected today, failure to win today will lead to Xisco being sacked by Sunday evening.

It won’t. He will get Newcastle next week regardless unless we get humiliated today.

The thing is, Nath’s reputation proceeds him to the point people assume he only posts negatively. He actually doesn’t. He makes many sound points a lot of the time and regularly praises players.

He (like many) just feels theres still a few players left at the club who should be nowhere near the team - but just says as much in a manner that’s a tad more ‘industrial’ than others. Just seems there’s a select few who get offended by it so claim Nath is negative all the time.

Bachmann clearly wearing a knee brace, does seem strange why he's on the bench though tbf

A long spell just before the goal where they hardly got a kick ffs, still none the wiser as to why we're playing Cathcart

I don’t know. Unfit I’d imagine or maybe he’s not training well enough.

I doubt he would punish the players for an error. His coaching USP is being nice to them.

True, but then it's also making ******* weird sub decisions for seemingly little reason, so I wouldn't put it past him, especially if he's scrabbling around for an answer. Like I said, still seems fantastical, but no less fantastical than the suggestion that Cathcart needed to be brought in 'for his experience' at all, but in particular against Norwich.

Unfortunately, Pukki has a habit of spewing out goals.

Foster doesn't position himself for a more aggresive or more cautious approach, leaving himself unable to pressure Pukki earlier with a more aggresive rush or set his body in anticipation with a more cautious position nearer to his goal. He then commits very early, dropping to his knees and therefore unable to react to the shot as he is literally on his knees. This enables Pukki to look up and put a fairly tame sidefoot past him into the goal as Foster made up his mind for him. Really poor technique with bad footwork.

It's a not goalkeeper howler, but it is indicative of a goalkeeper who hasn't played much in recent months / a keeper who has significantly regressed from a shot stopping perspective.

I only wish Bachmann would take crosses within his 6 yard box. That's all I ask as Foster is a clear 2nd choice keeper now in every other aspect.
