Not bad for a loan signing (if he’s as good as he was 3 years ago) as he’s a decent ball playing defender, but given his and our injury records, I’d be shocked if he plays more than 10 games.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel doesn't even being to do this justice. He hasn't played football for the best part of 3 years, and was injury prone before that. The bloke isn't even a footballer any more.
was reading online 2 weeks ago that he was offered to championship teams but no one made an official approach as he has been unable to prove his fitness. (was discussing with a Blackburn supporter)
Nice to see our fans slagging off a signing before they've even had a chance. Disgraceful and the usual suspects again.
The clubs going a bit of course he’s under 30, so looking ahead to 2 years time when we can have a real go for the +35 5 aside masters comp he’s not going to be in the picture. So it’s a no from me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Injury free - this is imo is a very shrewd signing. He has less pressure at Watford and I think he would do well - has been available for last 12 months injury free …. Will take some time to get his rhythm but I’d be happy with this
He's English. We need some of those. We're about 1 sprained ankle away from having to include youths in the matchday squad to make our quota.
Are there rules on homegrown players in matchday squads? In terms of the 25 man squad we've got Bachmann, Foster, Elliot, Cathcart, WTE, Rose, Cleverley, Gosling, Quina, Chalobah, Fletch and King.
It’s Talksport so probably not reliable ? And surely he’d never pass a medical or with our injury record be injured in seconds !
Yeah these are my thoughts, especially with Sierralta being unavailable for Wolves, surely Jones, even if he does sign, even if he passes a medical, won't be able to play for a while lol
Another Man Utd reject to be fixed up by Ginos Broken Toy Shop . Not good enough for Utd but easily good enough for us .
I just did a quick look... 1) Baah (although I thought we wanted to Loan him) 2) Gosling 3) Fletcher 4) Chalobah 5) Cleverley 6) Rose 7) Ngakia 8) Foster 9) Deeney (if he's still around) 10) Gray - gone. So without an incoming Englishman, Baah stays and we're at our 8, unless Cathcart counts, does he? If he does, we're goo all around and Baah can go no loan.
WTE and Bachmann are homegrown too according to graphics I have seen on Twitter, and you forgot Elliot as well.
The best teenage defender I have ever seen when he was at Blackburn. I was certain he'd become the best English defender. The Manchester pressure and injuries have destroyed him. I don't think he would even kick a ball for us, so it's a no from me.
