Another typical trait of fans is to judge a player on the basis of a few minutes. I seem to remember Doucoure getting all sorts of abuse. And ditto for Sarr. Players need to feel confidence from the manager, be played to their strengths and encouraged. Some players adapt rapidly others take time. He has barely played an hour always as a substitute yet apparently he is not good enough on the basis of these minutes.
This is the fanbase that cheered Ighalo going off because he didn't score in his first couple of games for us.
I was about to write the same about Sarr and Doucoure, but you beat me to it. Let's also not forget that in those 60 minutes he's single handedly saved us a point with that goal line clearance against Spurs, which come the end of the season could be critical. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
Or maybe they decided as has been written about that they were not pleased that he and Pedro have not been played.
Runs around a bit, but my Lord is he lightweight. Can't fault him, but who the **** thought he'd survive in English football?
Would be helpful if he was played in his natural role. I cannot understand why coaches always persist by playing players out of position handicapping themselves. In Vlad's case though given the limited options he has he can be excused.
Looks like he may be joining Crotone instead of Udinese. Loan with the option to buy. https://momentidicalcio.com/2020/09...to-dal-watford-trattativa-ai-dettagli-finali/
Wants to stay at Udinese after he recovers from his ACL. Best for all parties if that happens - never looked like he'd be up to the job, blown around like a crisp packet in a light breeze.
Good riddance....did the best thing he ever achieved in a watford shirt within two minutes of his debut by clearing the ball of the line in the spurs game. other than that he looked like a footballer who would never be able to hack it in the english game.
I'm not sure if we sold him to Udinese or whether he is on loan there? Any way I think he is injured right now, so even if he is on loan I don't see a place for him in our 1st team squad next season.
He's on loan, not that it matters much as he surely doesn't have a future with us, he'll probably be bought back for £7m this summer
Looks like Pussetto will be staying at Udinese on loan. We payed £7m for the guy, but they get to keep him. Marvelous. Well done, everyone. http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-sche...-finalise-hornets-players-transfer-next-days/
Udinese Calcio on Twitter: "@nachopussetto bianconero anche nella stagione 2021-22! ••• Nacho #Pussetto will remain an Udinese player for the coming season! ⚪️⚫️ #ForzaUdinese #AlèUdin https://t.co/ksM7nqLQde" / Twitter Confirmed. Pussetto will be playing for Udinese again next season.
We pay Udi £7m for an admittedly over-priced player. We then hand said player back after only a small number of appearances. A year later & he's still there, and will be for another year at least. And we don't get our money back. All very odd, even for us.
Looking for a move to Spain, could be a handy little fee we pick up for him. Although I doubt we'll be seeing that £7m again. https://m.tuttoudinese.it/calciomer...nche-dal-watford-si-guarda-alla-spagna-147903
Seems you will be correct. A loss of 4 million... Potentially staying in Italy? https://twitter.com/gloryhornet15/status/1540974216933265408
Buy him for £7m, loan him to Udinese and then sell him for €3m. Now that's how you do business properly.
Hiving assets Watford to Udinese pure and simple. They are happy to make it completely obvious, which shows their arrogance.
Cheer up Jumbo! It’s simply good husbandry! We wouldn’t understand the high-level reasoning behind this, but rest assured, Scott and Gino do business properly.
The ironic thing is that he's played the best football of his career since being loaned back to Udinese, and yet we're going to make more than a £4m loss on him
