Ryan Gray now saving his arse in case it does happen. Could still happen of course, I'm merely passing on messages - going to be a long summer full of this kind of fun
So maybe it's true, but the club are trying to prevent the word spreading in case another club jumps in and gazumps us at the last minute before the negotiations have been completed?
So does anyone know his favoured position? He looks like he's played all over the frontline and attacking midfield. But his stats seem very good from what I understand. Seems to have a good turn of pace and a wicked right foot.
He's played slightly more games as a left winger but even though he's played pretty much everywhere across the front line, suggesting he can play anywhere other than left wing would be moronic. According to some people anyway.
No player does that in modern football mate. Nor do they play right footers on the left wing and vice versa. It's a myth.
Being adaptable can be a curse for some players maybe that's why he's not a guaranteed starter for them. He definitely looks like he has something about him and King Ken will have direct competition obviously if he's being bought in for the left side.
It really depends on the player. Left-wing definitely looks the most likely position for Cabral, but he is actually pretty two-footed so he could still be more useful on the right than most if necessary.
I'm all for letting players drift, but if Transfermarkt say he's a left winger then we should probably just play him on the left.
It doesn't seem credible to me that a club that counts in its ranks with Isma*la Sarr and Andre Gray (perhaps even João Pedro, on another plane) is interested in another winger. An actual quote from the Sporting Lisbon forum. I never knew the Portuguese had such a sense of humour.
This guy is on our radar, but we've not made any firm offer. Could develop but we've got other targets, though we might not secure any of them if the price isn't right.
I'm hearing the same. There are undoubtedly others on the list but interest has been shown and we are clearly considering putting together an offer according to the interweb. One to watch for sure. Exciting times. Can't wait to seen the team when we get the planned 14 new signings integrated. The competition with the 3 new keepers, 10 new CMs and this new forward, will be intense.
Indeed. We are happy with the group as it is, but will make additions if the right player is available at the right price. Could be no more signings, could be loads. That's what I'm hearing.
We certainly won't move for the right player if the price is wrong. Likewise if the wrong player is available for the right price. If the wrong player is available for the wrong price, we will only move "if we owe the agent one". At least, that's what I'm hearing.
Yes. This tallies with my sources and reinforces the truth of the info I'm getting. Although I'm also hearing that we just might buy the wrong player for the wrong price, but it's not our preference, but we can't rule out doing and 'Andre.'
It's good to know we have so many ITK members on the forum. I'm now confident that this might happen but also confident it might not.
The source that said he’s close to signing are genuinely hit and miss, but they did break the Lazaar deal https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/cal...ord-dopo-la-risoluzione-col-newcastle-1492560 Also Giaretta has several interviews with them (9 to be exact since he joined us) and most importantly, follows them on Instagram. #WelcomeCabral
While the news passed on by TUT and moog sounds really promising, I’ll wait until we get confirmation from one of our verified ITK accounts. I expect Tim and Ming are scouring the airwaves for information as we speak.
