Would actually love that, so bring it on ;).

Don't forget the last time that we went for a 'classic/retro' inspired kit, we got those Dryworld pieces of ****. Just goes to show that it's all about the details, rather than the overarching 'ethos' of the kit.

I think Kelme will want to distinguish themselves, given that it will indeed be their first ever kit in the Premier League (even though they can't have known that for sure when they designed it), but they will also want to show a vein of conservatism is possible from them too - the wavey garms are more likely to be a second or third kit, and we might see something more on the level of the current Man Utd kit - a visible marl effect, say, for the home shirt.

Total speculation, though, of course. I am, for one, rather excited to see what they have come up with, and perhaps we might actually stand a chance of seeing it before early August for once this year.

I am tremendously proud that we are establishing this winning partnership with one of the most dynamic global brands. The ability to connect and collaborate has never been more important to the world, and I look forward to wearing my clubs kit to proudly demonstrate our shared passion for bringing to life our vision for ways to connect people.

Especially as we drive greater innovation on and off the pitch with our partners, our best-in-class vision will transform our synergy between club, community and global connectivity. In these challenging times, it is an unmatched opportunity to prioritise recovery and resurgence for Watford.

I know this season's shirt has divided opinions, I quite like it, but looking at the goal of the season clip this morning it struck me how nice the kit looks in all-yellow..... Really liked that...

What the actual f u ck?!

    upload_2021-5-3_12-17-44.png

Presumably, as is standard, some Prem teams will be doing that weird thing where they play their final fixture or two in their new kit for the following season. Meanwhile, once again for absolutely no reason, with an established supplier in their middle of their contract with us, we have to wait until the middle of fu cking July at the earliest - two and a half months after our season effectively ended and only one month before the new one begins. WHY.

Shame. I was looking forwards to seeing what they come up with reasonably soon.
We've had an explosion, to signify our explosion back to the Prem, so how about some weird implosion-y, chevron-y shrinking kit to signify our drop. Or maybe black, downwards-facing arrows, pointing towards red shorts. And relegation.

I'm sure there have been reasons why but we always seem to be one of the last clubs to release our kit. It baffles me that the club don't release it a few months earlier and get the cash rolling in.

Even in the sense that shirt cash is relatively negligible for clubs, especially ones with fanbases the size of ours, it's surely just a good opportunity for engagement - get people wearing it over the summer before the new season, get it on socials for all these vital international fanbases we're apparently cultivating, and just engender goodwill - the design will have been made months and months ago, because that's how it works, so why take this incredibly annoying decision to always delay until almost the last possible moment?

    Classic Pozzo smoke show.

Delay kit release and watch the fan base slowly combust over the summer.

Remove all attention from lack of transfer activity and Deeney new contract.

Then, just as attention starts to focus on our terrible squad, release a horrific, garish kit and distract everybody once more.

The current kit I think of less as an explosion and more of a starburst.

    Or should that be Sarr-burst?

With the 3rd kit 'requirement' of the PL I never understood why we didn't do something really 'off-the-wall' (like this - are they the same team who had the broccoli and beer kits?) for it with our sponsors "The Happy Egg Co." or "Orbital Sanders" and use it for club PR "...all football clubs are not the same..." fundraising for something in Watford like the Peace Hospice...

Then maybe a Gray Hole kit for next season. Swirling vortex of Gray, with with a miniscule Sarr of yellow in the centre. The shirt sponsor could be 'Successful Business!'

Are AFEX our new shirt sponsor? I noticed they were tagged in the announcement of Louza and their logo is also on the picture. Same goes for Pollock.

    They're now both.

It's an Afex Twin sponsorship deal.

Hideous. I hope that’s BS - looks like someone’s scribbled on the torso in paint so there’s every chance.
