i think he is an excellent option for the squad, it remains to be seen if he is good enough for the premier league but i do think he is much maligned by our fan base. he has contributed to one of the best defensive records in the country this season, that should count for something.

The Udinese (and previously Granada) cast-offs have always been a mixed bag. Some have been absolutely fantastic and others the complete opposite. WTE didn't make it at Spurs, and makes too many unenforced errors. Perhaps Tier 2 is his real level.

we shall have to wait and see but i dont think he is any worse than some of the other defenders we have had in the squad in recent years. he wouldnt be in my favoured two, but i would be happy to have him the squad.

 

Although obviously I would never had wanted us to be relegated, however we are I believe better off by being relegated last season than this one, after COVID with no supporters etc our finances would have been more stretched than being relegated on more or less “ full pay “ and then making the necessary cuts and getting back the next season!

I can’t imagine Sheffield United getting promoted next season!

The only thing in Troost-Ekong's favour is that next season we will not be dominating possession in games. If he is left to purely defend rather than bring it out from the back then he may prove useful, that being said he will still need to raise his game a level. But that's a conversation for the summer, today he deserves full credit for being part of a magnificent defensive effort this season.

Our consistency since Munoz came in as manager particularly in terms of our impressive home record has seen us over the line. That with Brentford's characteristic bottle job and Bournemouth changing their manager just too late to effect the automatic positions.

 

Maybe because they don't want to deter domestic fans from potentially still buying a ticket to watch the game in person by offering the stream for too cheap? Whereas for those abroad they'll be much less likely to attend in person anyway. Though of course such reasoning is a tad redundant during the corona period.

In all seriousness, they probably are but I wouldn't want to put it to the test again! I once accidentally dropped my iPhone SE into the bath water and the case probably saved it, but it doesn't protect the speakers so the sound was distorted for the next 12 or so hours. The tip is to hang the phone with the speakers downwards so that the remaining droplets of water drip out.
