Phonetically we all know what Suck means and I'm sure you know Sess is the street name for cannabis, so Success clearly means he's enjoying a spiff or 2 at one of his Bailey's parties.

Head: Should be a comfortable win and HMSPTL should carry on full steam ahead
Heart: Watford always have the capacity to stuff things up when you least expect them to and it is most important that they don’t*; momentum could have been lost and players might be missing due to stupid Intl break; this is definitely a potential banana skin match that leaves HMSPTL looking more like the Ever Given (before it was freed).

Had a similar head/heart debate before the Rotherham and Birmingham matches and felt similarly nervous - hoping for the same outcome and that, like then, I look foolish for being so cautious.

    * ( see that match in 2015; and HB1 sorry but you are so wrong if you think any opposition fans would have reacted differently to spoiling the party when our fans were already on the pitch preparing to celebrate; Watford fans would have done exactly the same if the situation was reversed - take off your rose tinted spectacles)

Totally agree. And it's the hope that brings the nerves. Just a few weeks ago automatic promotion looked gone and my "give a damn" levels had dropped off considerably. Now we definitely have it all to lose.

Hopefully the players respond to that pressure in a positive way. Like Rotherham and Birmingham, we have the quality to beat Wednesday (despite the players we're missing). All we need is our focus, determination and energy to at least match theirs and we will end up on top.

Will probably be another 12:30 kick-off too to avoid any trouble

Who exactly are we missing though? Sarr MIGHT not make it, I guess Sema will probably not be able to play after his ******* friendly game last night, but apart from that?

WTE has got a longer journey home than is ideal & Cathcart & Wilmot played yesterday, so they will probably struggle to start the game.

I'd imagine these three will be on the bench, Cathcart was already in the UK, I guess a 45 minute flight from Belfast to London wouldn't have taken much out of him.

I think WTE might be alright to start, can always sub him off for Kabs if he's feeling it a bit in the second half, then keep Cathcart on the bench as he had a relatively calm game yesterday with a short flight. Masina will probably be OK too, it's Sema I'd be worried about

Last night I had a dream I saw Will Hughes hanging outside Watford Junction. I opened my mouth to speak but before any words came out he told me to '**** off'. I woke in a cold sweat.

On that basis I can only see this being a very difficult game. Sheffield Wed are a very, very good side, but hopefully we can get Sarr (if fit) isolating their full back and we may have some success. We need 10/10s all over the pitch to even make a contest of this, but sadly I can only see a comfortable away win.

    Prediction

    Watford 0-3 Sheff Wed
    Hughes (sent off 4); Nuhiu (90+1, 90+4, 90+7)

Even with players on international duty we should absolutely destroy this lot, they are absolute dog droppings and anything less than 3-0 win will be an embarrassment.

I'm guessing Sarr, Sema, WTE, Cathcart and Masina may not start. No news on Zinc but while he has been in training, he may not have fully recovered enough to start.

Our defence should make sure we avoid embarrassment. Hopefully keep this down to a 2-0 loss

Not 100% sure, but the word seemed to be that Zinck's injury was only very minor and that he'd be fine for after the break

On this, I saw a clip yesterday of a cross bar challenge with 4 players, Ngakia, Hungbo, perica and pedro.
Ngakia stepped up and used his LEFT peg for 4 out of 5 attempts.!??? And we all wrote him off as a LB that one game. Makes no sense.?
Btw Hungbo was easily best at 4/5...

Oh dear, the club website has described it as "fortress Vicarage Road" in the article with Dan Gosling. If ever there was a way to guarantee a limp defeat, that's it.

If a foreign army invaded Watford I think Vicarage Road would hold little defence, a fortress it would surely not be.

I would skulk the wetlands in Cassiobury Park in the manner of the Viet Cong where the invaders would be unaccustomed. Watford was founded on such wetlands (it is believed to be the etymology of 'Watford'), we must use them to our advantage.

Might be a front 3 of Pedro/Gray/Success tomorrow, whilst the injuries/international fatigue are sorted out for the game after.

Surely Zinckernagel is fit so we'd have no need for Success

He can always change it if it ain't working. :)

The only difference to the front 3 from the Brum game is Gray, who scored when he came on, replacing Sema.

Yes, and that's quite a significant difference, isn't it?

He can indeed change it; it just seems smarter to go with a non-**** option from the off, to have a reduced chance of it ain't working.

Birmingham I thought were very good, hopefully Sheffield Weds aren’t as good and we can have a fear free Friday!

Blues ultimately were like we we under Dyche. Competitive throughout the game but undone by a few moments of real quality. We have the ability to take the game away from the majority of the league as and when we need to.

I'm pretty sure most if not all of our games after international duty were picked up by Sky for Friday nights and we didn't rest anyone.

With 5 subs available we might as well start full strength and take a lead.

Jordan Rhodes is only a few goals away from being the highest scoring Championship striker ever on 114. David Nugent is top with 121. He hasn't been as lethal at Sheffield Wednesday but we shouldn't let him have a sniff.

I didnt think that at all. They had 1 shot on target all game and I never thought we were in danger of not getting the 3 points.
