I think Cleverly might be injured, so this guy looks like a shoe in now whether he is **** or not

James Garner won't know what's hit him on Saturday. Expecting to see his old mates and then Carlos steams into him a minute after the ball has gone.

This is mental. I would rather play Dan Phillips. This guy has played three league games since the 2017/18 season. This can't possibly be true. Well apart from the fact we sign Lazar who is another non-playing footballer.

To me this is the big one.
Working behind the checkout at his local Tesco or helping out at his cousin's petrol station would have been very tempting.
    We should feel very proud.

Now Gosling and Cleverley are actually injured I look a bit stupid.

Not an issue. We are signing Paul Scholes as cover for Sanchez.

I was at the last game he played and he was awful. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the worst performances from a pro footballer i've ever seen. He was overweight and unfit. He was also on 70K a week at West Ham...

Yeah but he has 88 caps for Colombia so we can ignore all that.

Hopefully the timing of the announcement is completely unrelated to the extent of Cleverley injury.

Tom said in an Instagram post that his knee felt okay, but not sure when we'd know more.

We are probably just putting the final nail in Cucho's Watford career here to be fair - Zuniga was before his time so we've brought in another Colombian who can let Cucho know that this is a circus he wants no part of.

    Yeah yeah yeah. Whatever.

This is a great signing and I'm going on Twitter to express my absolute coggery (and include a link to my blog) to my fake purchased followers. Might even do a pole.

Funnily enough Cucho has responded positively to the announcement on Instagram. A clapping hand emoji, no less

He last started a game on 25/01/20 (and was subbed at half time, lol!).

He has been without a club for 8 months.

    He's 35 years old.

We are the world's slowest team at integrating new players, how on earth is he going to be up to speed before the end of the season? He'll have to do his own pre-season first surely?

I actually genuinely watched him play once whether it be at Villa or West Ham (some team in Claret) and he stood out as being exceptionally slow and poor. Looked way off Premier League standard and it's not often players stand out to me for being terrible.

But, they've noticed we're missing bodies in midfield and addressed with what is probably the best option of a bad bunch. Hopefully, he comes good, he doesn't have to do much, three or four 7/10 performances will be good enough. Smart fouls, regain possession and bring some work rate and experience to the dressing room. Simple.
