I always have a bag of tesco all rounders on the go in the larder. If they get too many sprouting eyes, I'll just stick them in the ground.
Fancy remembering a comment not even aimed at you I'm as game as an American Yankee ****, I will fight any man including Scott Duxbury if needed.
Today was our strangest performance of the season for me, first half in complete control but we fell apart once they scored as they set about trying to wind us up. I'm gonna take this defeat as the big wake up moment that spurs us on. We are a bit naive at times and fell for their tricks and JP will grow from this... We have got to "up" our attacking ideas now, as down the right it's always a couple of one-twos down into the corner and then gently chip in an aimless ball. Time and time again. Positives from today:- JP gets a break, Perica gets his chance, Gosling gets a full game, The players will be more galvanised, We learn and go again, Bmth have used up their luck with us this season, more onus on us to do them in the play offs.!!!!!!!
Bournemouth are a horrible side to watch. They kill games with their diving, high pitched squeals and surrounding the ref. I can barely watch Barca Real matches, as despite the ridiculous quality on display, the matches often turned into exacerbating acts of patheticness. For a side to take the anti-football aspect of Barca, and combine it with the long ball nature of Wimbledon, is horrific to watch. How on earth their fans put up with that (whilst struggling) in the Championship, is beyond me. Nice for them that they won, but it's unwatchable. I hope one day the FA/EPL get a grip and decide to do something about them, and other such teams, that prioritising cheating over playing actual football. Until then, let's hope they are given stronger referees, so they can't cheat their way out of the division.
Poor Kelso. If he wasn't back on the sauce before today, he would be now. Best wishes Kelso if you're out there.
I didn’t say it wasn’t ok. I asked why after one defeat it’s now the play offs. I also wasn’t asking you
One game too many as thought we looked tired. Still played ok and were very unlucky to lose. Awful keeping from Bachman for the goal. Some terrible play acting from Lerma but it’s not as if he’s the only who has ever done it. Forestieri at Wolves springs to mind. We lost today but we would always lose at some point. It by no means says that we can’t go up automatically. I hate watching teams cheat like they did today and there is no footballer I like less than Adam Smith but wishing death, even if it’s not really meant is just incredible especially when you read about IBB’s brother. maybe a little perspective needed. still long way to go and a lot can change
Yes he must have missed our previous four games including the 6-0 which Pedro didn’t score in. In our last five games these are our scorers not including JP. Sema x3, Hughes x2, Sarr x3 Zinckernagel 1
Thanks Knight GT and to everyone else for their kind wishes for Laurence. As he went all the way to the Vetch Field for that fateful day when it was called off ( undue influence by Toshack, proving there's nothing new under the sun) it would be apt if we were to clinch promotion by beating them on the last day of the season. I,like everyone else on here desperately hope this will happen. It's certainly within our control given the fixtures we have against rivals. Time to be brave and 7/10 from every man from now on. Very tough but certainly achievable.
On a side not I thought their left back was excellent. If we went up we badly need a left back upgrade and based on today he would certainly be it
Wasn't that Kelly, the one who should have been sent off after a minute or two in the home game? He did have Lerma helping him out quite often.
