Toothless and tired looking display. Fecking cheating scum. But we were so naive to react. How was it their free kick before the goal? Lerma climbed all over Chalobah and I thought the ref indicated it was our free kick?
Pathetic, naive, tactically inept performance against those utter f**king s**t c*nts. I truly despise them and I hope every single one of their players suffers a career ending injury.
Hands up anyone who didn’t think muff would cheat? Thought not. Then why the **** was our team not ready for it? Why aren’t we playing them at their own game? Why aren’t we screaming and rolling around the floor as well?
Pathetic from us, absolutely bottled it. Didn’t turn up and didn’t try to play. Bournemouth are a truly odious team but we played completely in to their hands. We don’t have anywhere near the mentality to get autos, we’d won four in a row and they’d been crap, we needed to take this game by the scruff of the neck, you know, like we were going for promotion. Instead we get that pathetic display.
I don’t want autos - I want to beat this lot in the play off final. Semi-final will do. And sorry I know I shouldn’t but I want it more than beating Luton next game.
Bright start but then poor. Cathcart and then Bachman really poor for the goal. Bachman is a real weak link both at his near post and from corners. Need to bounce back immediately in the next couple of games to have a hope of automatic promotion. I would go on about what a disgrace Bournemouth are, especially Lerna, but wouldn’t like to encourage anyone to get on their high horse and accuse me of being a pathetic.
Can a mod change the team name to 'Bournemouth' in the thread title please? Utterly disrespectful to a fellow small club and their fans.
Yup. Confusing. He definitely gave it to us and so surely Chalobah’s ‘foul’ on Lerma came when the ball was dead? Odd.
How long is Pedro suspended for? It's hard to imagine a worse outcome than this. Muff's goal comes a result of blatant cheating and we lose a key player. It shows that they are institutionally despicable.
Utterly disgusting ******* ****s. Never known a team and club like these ******** Hope they go bust and the likes of Lerma, Wilshere and Smith die.
They're a disgusting scummy nasty little club with a horrible cheating culture that's been there for years, but they did a number on us here. We started well, but we just weren't good enough or streetwise. We let them get under our skin, and we looked a bit lethargic. A few individual dreadful performances as well. I hope the injustice of this can galvanise us for the next matches, but I fear it may cause despondency for the players. A long way to go still, but that feels like a right kick in the balls for automatics. I did enjoy seeing Hughes and Cleverley impersonate their screaming, though. Bournemouth really are an absolute embarrassment. Scum. They make Zaha, Salah and Busquets look like Marquess of Queensbury gentlemen. C*nts.
Was always going to be a loss today, Bournemouth always drag us down with their despicable cheating ways We’re talking about a club whose manager has a criminal conviction for his role in a racially motivated assault and whose captain faced trial for an accusation of gang rape Entire club is filth from top to bottom and I can’t wait for the day they return to the lower leagues where they belong
Don't worry. I doubt many Bournemouth fans use the Internet. They probably still use teletext or the wireless.
A high line doesn't suit Cathcart, he's too slow. If we're going to do that we need Sarr/Sema to cover the runs.
Started brightly, tapered off. Asleep from the restart after typical carry on from them trying to get Chalobah sent off. Poor from Bachmann. Not much in the game. Hughes and Sarr were quiet which never helps us. We didn't play well. Well below the standard we've seen the last few weeks. They didn't look up to much, so very disappointing to let a chance like today go. Didn't like the subs from Munoz. Perica, Zink and Gray on the bench, then bringing on a LB signed on a free when 1-0 down 20mins to go, I can't join the dots on that one. Disappointed to lose but there'll be many more twists and turns in the next 3 months. Some players need a rest, lack of intensity from some but understandable to a degree. No better time to rotate that than against bottom of the league at home on Wednesday. Chalobah to miss the next 2. JP was a second yellow I believe so he'll just miss Wycombe. Some of their carry on was outrageous, but who's really surprised? Fair play to the players for not standing for it and also for mocking the screams from Lewis Cook in the second half, top stuff. Two home games coming up this week, no less than 6 points required.
What a scummy poxy little football club Bournemouth are. Jefferson Lerma should be ashamed of himself. Celebrating like that had won the FA cup final at the end, yet if Cardiff win they aren’t even in the playoffs. (Rant over) I just didn’t think it clicked for us today we tried to force it a little and the decision making wasn’t brilliant. It’s not the end of the World for us we need to kick on in our next game, we was never going to win all of our games.
Jack Wilshire could have had about 4 yellows in his time on the pitch. Amazing he lasted as long as he did.
As I said on the shoutbox, that was the first actual/genuine test of our credentials since Xisco earned his reprieve from the appalling Cov and QPR performances, and he failed on every observable measure. Some of the players let themselves down hugely too, including Femenia, but no one did particularly well or, indeed, what was needed. That second half performance was abysmal, and to have to watch us wind down and offer less and less as the clock ticked, just as we did last season, was sickening. Was there a positive/bright spot? I can't think of one to take away as it stands. (Let's not forget that that test was still against a team in appalling form, who had just dropped out of the playoffs for the first time. How charitable we were, as ever.)
Lerma's antics shouldn't disguise the fact we weren't good enough today to break them down. Second half worse than the first. Like for like non attacking subs coming on at 1-0 down was a bit negative from the manager I thought.
That's OK. Gray will run rings around the Wycombe defence. No problem with playing Gosling instead of Chalobah.
Thing is they probably just about deserved the win - although maybe a draw, close call. They didn’t actually need to use all their ****** gamesmanship today. Lerma is a full on cheat though. Even his ex team mate went and told him. And final whistle he was the player they went to to congratulate!? “Well done, cheat of the match” Do they play like this against everyone or just us?
Baffles me how we never learn from past experiences of playing Bournemouth. Really hope they don't make the playoffs, they'll do us again and we'll lose our rag. Let's hope some results go our way.
