I'm not so sure about him and his attitude though. I seem to remember at Stoke with us at 0-2 and with him preparing to come on when Fletcher made it 1-2, Xisco cancelled his appearance in favour of tightening our defence and brought on Wilmot instead for Cleverley, right decision in a very tight and vital match. Cameras focussed on him throwing a strop at the time and at the end of the game. Not a team player at all, clearly more focussed on playing up to the various Man Utd forums than acting professionally I'd think. He must spend his life reading the praise from the legions of Mancs. His card was marked at the Vic from then. Yes he has great potential and his early efforts for Forest appear impressive but I thought that attitude was poor even for a youngster. He might have learned from that but I wasn't unhappy when the loan was cancelled and am happier with Gosling to call on from the bench.
Well I wasn't considering what he was like off the field, I'll admit. But he won't be the first young player to be annoyed yo to be playing, and won't be the last. Some take it as a positive, not negative.
Agree, also I never liked Garner's socks rolled up over his knees. It smacked of 'look at me', I'm the star from Manchester United!
Garner brought down Watford's 'Good Skin' rating by at least 10%. He should play for Derby. So should Nathan Akné and Philip Ziternagel.
Yep our treatment of that scrawny testicle is one of the highlights of the season for me. It must been beyond his comprehension that little old Watford could think he is so shyte we couldn't cancel his loan soon enough. Hopefully it made him take a long hard look at himself, but the fact the sycophants at forest are too scared to drop him means his arrogance levels have been topped up again. A puny physique and a weak mind.
I think we'll see a couple of changes / players rested, Sema, Chalobha and maybe Massina We need to make sure that we don't burn out Pedro as well His a 19yr old lad, who will need resting from time to time. My only concern from Friday is that we weren't ruthless enough in killing the game off. GT always use to say that 2-0 was the most dangerous score to defend, concede one and you give away the momentum. We seemed to lose control of the game in the 2nd half and let the tempo drop. Hopefully we can just improve out game managment
Blackburn haven't lost 5 in a row since 2012. Safe to say, bet on Blackburn for the win. We kick start teams seasons, end losing streaks, and never break records that are positive. Even though they are basically playing with their make shift defence, this will be an easy win for Blackburn.
What, exactly, do you mean by this - are you asking if you can start a live broadcast live but later than the time of it being live?
His knee is still officially noted as "a little iffy". However he is such a legend that it's felt he is undroppable despite his lack of mobility. There is concern that by continuing to play on, 45 years after his peak and 43.5 years after his "career-ending" injury in his only game for Watford, that he may be harming his legend status. However the media still believe that Blackburn will be seriously weakened if he's ever dropped.
We wouldn't be where we are today without his input in that single game. We owe him everything. My first Watford game......his only Watford game.
Loved Mooney as a player but he is really getting on my nerves with his undying love of Deeney. He's had to eat his words a few times since the Bristol City match. At 19 Pedro is showing up the non dynamic duo in every department. Hs goals from open play is just one stat that he should swallow let alone his all around play.
I some how got called back from an open trial by being the loudest on the pitch for my 20 or so minutes I played and taking out two of the opposition and squaring up to them. Fun times.
Pretty sure you can’t record, pause, rewind or any such thing, so basically you’ll miss it until you start watching it I’m afraid.
Yep, it really is pretty limited. Very much watching as if you were there as you get one camera view and no replays. They originally didn’t have commentators which, judging from their recent efforts, can only have been a good thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Would definitely like to see Cleverley and Sema get some rest in this one. Getting a couple of goal lead at the half would be ideal, then Cleverley could be rested. Would like to see Zinckernagel get an extended run - so starting him for Ken would be fine. I'd also have Success on the bench. It would be interesting to see what he might do in an open game with the likes of Sarr and Pedro stretching things - and players actually getting him the ball at his feet or in front of him in some space. Perhaps Zinckernagel starts then Success after 60 minutes if we've got a lead? if not, Sema. I'm by no means a Success fanboy, but we wasted shedloads of minutes ion Gray who is clearly past it, spending a few on someone who might just have had the light come one seems a decent shout.
I suspect your right and I think it will come in the next game he plays, but every game is vital now, no point winning the hard ones and losing the easy ones , I would let home play until happens and get it out of the way.
lets be honest in the time he was here we weren’t getting the best out of any of our players let alone the juniors , I think he looked a bit soft along side some of the others in the team but other than that would have come good
Chalobah has been almost like a new signing last few games. Since the system change he seems to have found an extra gear. Even if he picks up a two match ban against Blackburn, we still have options to replace him. How sweet would it be to face Muff on Saturday and have Gosling score a 92 minute winner against his old charges?
Thanks, EB. Plan B: presumably I can watch Hive as-live? I can't bear to miss a moment of buccaneering Watford's promotion drive. Sad!
Would be sweeter for him to score the 5th in the 92nd minute in a 5-0 away win. Sadly he will give away a penalty, then be sent off in a 2-1 defeat, before joining Marseille in a fortnight.
Right, well yes, afraid as others have said now, that's not how the red button functions. What you'd need is a full match replay but I'm not sure whether they are made available anywhere at this point.
From what I’ve seen from Zinc, he’s nowhere near starting, especially away from home. I’m all up for giving him more time and easing him in gently, as players adjust at different rates, but he’s currently a bit too lightweight for the championship and every other touch seems to go straight to the opposition.
