I’m a dane. This news really excites me. Zinckernagel was not highly rated when playing in the danish Superliga, but his season in Norway has raised some eyebrows hier in Denmark. People talking about a possible call-up to the national team now. This could be a 50/50. It is seen a lot, with the “big stars” from Denmark. Many of them, when going to the big leagues, cant continue there form. Marcondes from Brentford was probably one of the best players in the Superliga, when going to Brenford. And still haven’t fulfilled his potential in the Championship. What surprises me, is that Brentford isn’t going in for him. Seems like a better match. With probably bigger chances for success.
He was Bodo/Glimts set-piece taker and has 13 assists from set-pieces this season. Also scored from a direct free kick.
Presumably one of Sarr, Sema or this guy will need to sit each game out though in 4-4-2 .....unless he's played as a second striker ? Or Sarr goes.
Great option to have off the bench. Something we have been lacking for the final 20-30mins is fresh legs out wide. It’s going to take time for him to adjust to the pace and physicality of the league, so I’m sure he’s coming here knowing that. He will push Sarr and Sema to earn their place in the starting line up at least.
A no brainer. He played in one of the most entertaining teams I've ever seen. He's got absolutely everything you want in wide player and works extremely hard for the team. He could of easily had more goals and bags more assists because of the way Bodo played home or away. As for work permit I've read he held an English address from September so it's no problem. Sounds like the deal was sorted out on Monday he flew out Tuesday for the medical and it's all a matter of tying up so e loose ends. Looking forward to seeing how we line up with him predominantly playing from the right for Glimt.
Actually I was wrong - he took 13 set-pieces that lead to goals, but wasn't credited with the actual assist for a lot of them. I've pulled the video of all his goals and assists from last season if anyway fancies a watch: Assists: Goals
Looks like a budget Eden Hazard. Certainly plays in a very different style to anyone else we have in the squad. Prime age, used to winning, looks like he has some skills. Hard to gauge due to quality of opposition - there were a couple of clips of him doing some good things against Milan too but then I remembered that Serie A is utter dogshit as well.
Bodø / Glimt's points king is said to have turned down several lucrative offers. Now he continues his career in England if everything goes according to plan. EmailSend a link to the article by email 29.12.20 14:39 29.12.20 16:53 Adrian RichvoldsenTip me Stian André de WahlTip me The case is being updated According to Nettavisen's information, the Dane has recently turned down offers from both Røde Stjerne and Turkish Fenerbahce. The 26-year-old's contract with Bodø / Glimt expires at New Year, and he can thus go to a new club without any kind of transfer fee. Now the winger has decided on his next destination, and it is according to Nettavisen's experience in the Championship club Watford that the offensive striker will continue his career. read more After his first year in Norway, Zinckernagel was called into the Glimt coach's office. There he received a clear message: - They meant it very seriously According to Nettavisen, the Dane is informed by several credible sources in the process of undergoing the medical test on Tuesday. Only formalities remain before a final agreement is in place. He is also said to have turned down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia. Dutch Heerenveen is also said to have explored the possibility of reaching an agreement with Zinckernagel until recently, but in the end it was the English club that won the battle for the Dane's signature, Nettavisen is informed. Zinckernagel's team, led by agent Pini Zahavi, is said to have landed a deal with Watford on Monday, before Zinckernagel then left for London that evening to complete the final details of his new club. There has been uncertainty about whether players from smaller leagues, such as the Norwegian one, can qualify for a work permit in the UK under the new Brexit rules that will soon come into force. According to information that Nettavisen has received confirmation, a so-called pre-settlement agreement (pre-settlement agreement status editor's note) was entered into as early as September, so that Zinckernagel already had a registered address in England. This should have simplified a transfer for the Dane to the Championship club. Zinckernagel was named Player of the Year in the Eliteserien by Nettavisen after an incredible 44 goal points in 28 games. Watford are currently in 5th place in the Championship. Six points behind league leader Norwich. The online newspaper has tried to get a comment from Zinckernagel and his agents, but they have so far not wanted to comment on the case.
I hear due to permit issues he's being loaned to Udinese and we are getting Zeegelaar back in return.
I'm surprised no one has yet given due recognition to how much he ups our handsomeness quota, to be honest.
Plating 3 times a week it is handy having an option to rotate though. I imagine Sarr will always be first choice. Not going to lie I have never heard of him before but what I have read about him he seems handy enough, especially on a free transfer.
Anyone who can play on the right hand side of the left, and then drift inside/outside onto the other side, using the other foot, has got to add value.
Looks great in the video and his team mates miss some incredibly easy chances so he’ll fit in well here!
My post was of course a p***take of the debate about his best position but I'm sure you appreciated that and it's always good to see Ron Manager.
I'm sure the 1881 will come up with something trailblazing and original like The White Stripes, Kumbaya or Sloop John B. Let's hope they don't just recycle the one about giving the ball away. As we know how that ended.
Yeah. Stick a pin in this and let’s ask Villarreal fans if they think Capoue is better than Zidane in a few months as well.
