What’s more, if you put the original article into google translate, it calls him both the ‘Disguted Dane’ and the ‘Reluctant Dane’.
I’m frankly disgusted no one has posted a clips video yet. Interesting style of play. Runs with the ball but also has a Beckham type way of caressing the ball. Takes penalties, so thanks Troy, you may go.
If the deal is done before 1st Jan presumably he will avoid the work permit issue? Would then be ok after as on a contract and resident?
Quite possibly. The recruitment company I work for reckon we're nabbing him under the right to remain scheme which he can apply for up until the 31st. Since he's a free agent on the 31st, if we sign him on the 31st then he can join immediately since we don't need to wait until the transfer window opens. So won't actually need to go through the new regulations at all. Quite clever, although doubt the paperwork will get sorted properly for a few weeks.
Decent age, and on the back of a really good season. Not too much to complain about here, and if we can get it over the line, you’d hope he’d be the first of a few players we target who are younger, and hungrier to succeed. Great name, too.
He's 5'9 (according to wiki and transfermarkt. He looks maybe even a bit more than that in photos as well.
Nice video. Hopefully he will get used to bombing down the wing and then holding the ball up for 15 seconds while our CF ambles into the box.
We’re doing this the old fashioned way. He’s set to marry the fairest of fair maidens to be found in Hertfordshire tomorrow and then we’ll roast a pig under the flyover while a jousting tournament takes place on bicycles outside Walkabout.
I know you only see the best bits on these clips, but he does look like a decent player. Quick feet, a good balance when running, seems quite robust and takes a decent penalty too. Appears to be very confident, but what impressed me the most was the flight on the ball when he crosses. They really arc well, with pace and he can do it with very little preparation. I'm actually very impressed with what I've seen.
You should be a lot more excited about this than most of you are. Yes the Norwegian league isn't great - but Hauge has looked good for Milan when getting minutes and this guy out performed him last season. His numbers are outrageous and a lot of people in data/player identification have been very excited about him. More than anything it shows we're looking beyond Udinese reserves and journeyman free agents - wonder if the new data guy played a role in this.
Tier 4 mate. Everybody has to BBQ a chop each and ride their bicycle round their own garden whilst on Zoom. Good luck with maiden although I guess there'll be a budding Mrs Zinckernagel out there.
As suggested earlier "There nothin' like a Dane" needs to be his chant. Some of those lads dont look like they are into "Dames" to me.
I’m very, very happy with this. Not just because his record scoring and creating goals recently (19G and 24A in 28 games) is unbelievably good, and he’ll be an excellent addition to the squad. But also because I suggested him in the summer on the transfer suggestions page, prompting quite the argument between a couple of forum members on whether Zinckernagel could play on the left or only the right. Maybe my expectations have been diminished so much recently, but I wasn’t expecting we’d bring someone like Zinckernagel. Really excited to see what he can do!
Can he take free kicks and set pieces. At 5ft 7 no point him in box for a corner or free kick so may as well take them. still wondering what point is of a good crosser when we have Gray and Deeney in middle so hope we can also sort out a forward
I’ve heard he’s great at the ‘sitting on the bench as a wasted talent waiting for a move to CSKA Sofia in 18 months’ role.
Just think of the extra letters which will be sold on shirts, three times more than Sarr its a yes from me!
