Sporting Index now have us significantly behind the main protagonists in terms for total points:

Brentford, Norwich and Bournemouth all at 80 or 81. We are at at 75, Swansea 73 and Reading 72.

Is this projected points for the end of the season? What's it based on?

75 points would have secured a PO place fairly comfortably last season, I'm sure a fair few would take that now...

Anyone notice that Bristol City's goalkeeper kit is an update of one of our classic old 90s ones?

Bristol’s looks like a Bournemouth kit, despite being completely different colours.

Do they have the same sponsor?

Surely you know the answer to that already?

But anyway, they were Bournemouth's sponsor for their last 5 seasons in the Premiership, though this season Bournemouth are instead sponsored by Vitality.

Seems so - doesn't help us much but after the other week can they complain?

Bristol City ahead and Brentford/Swansea drawing.

Fairly good results for us tonight.

Of the teams around and above us, only Bristol City win, Muff lost and the rest drew!

I think it shows why we shouldn't get too down-hearted about our performances, as we know we can get better,

Just goes to show how water thin this division is. Win tomorrow and leap back into early contention, unfortunately Ivic has a wafer thin formation mindset.

Of all the teams up there at the moment, I definitely would have been happiest with Bristol City winning! Brilliant day for us! A nice consolation for when we inevitably get done by Stoke!

You can analyse all you like, talk about formations, left-backs, strikers, creativity all you like, but it seems the most important thing you have to take into account is that nobody ever wants to get out of the Championship! :D

Can't wait until we play the Championship bottom dwellers like Barnsley. They got mashed 3-0 tonight. Just imagine what our team of superstars could do to them.

It seems unfair that they have to play us. Poor sods, it will be their cup final. So, 6-0?

    A fair point.

Wycombe won against Wednesday after getting a point from us, then Wednesday won against unbeaten Muff. This is a very unpredictable division.

If (a big if at the moment) we play to our potential we should be challenging for the top 2.

Wycombe just scored a stoppage time winner at Brum..
And Forest just scored a 97th minute penalty against Coventry as well.

Didn't realise that Bournemouth seem to have similar problems scoring goals as us, like us they've only scored more than one on two occasions this season and have 12 goals from their first 10 games compared to 11 for us (conceding a goal more too). They 'seem' to be playing better than us, but still, it ain't easy this Championship lark!

A few of us on here have given out about Sarr, but even when he's not playing at top gear (which he probably hasn't all season yet), he's still a threat. While our team doesn't quite look cohesive as of yet, there is a lot to be said for simply having players who are clearly Premier League quality in the team lol

Might be a reaction to last night but they were questioning Tindall’s future.

I'm not surprised, I get that they wanted to keep the continuity given the short break between seasons, but it was a risk to promote the former #2, that strategy rarely ends up well long-term. I haven't seen them extensively, but like us, things are going fairly well for them, so if I were them I would probably advise against making rash decisions this early in the season
