Weather set to be atrocious as well so scrappy early goal for Wycombe followed by a ton of misplaced passes and missed golden opportunities for us in a 1-0 reverse.

    Nah, we’ll batter them.

When I saw the incident that caused him to come off against Spuds, I didn't think it would be a muscular one, but apparently it was. Heard early on that he was expected to be out for 10 weeks in total, just a bit annoying that we've been hearing contrasting things the whole time

Yep, their defence looks spectacularly bad at the moment and that is not always something easy to fix. Can’t see them being favourites for the title now somehow.

I hate Bournemouth more than Luton.

    There. I've said it.

Sounds like after next international break then. With Perica out till late December, we are one injury away from Murray being the main man (unless Deeney gets back in shape). And even then I'm sure he will rotate in at some point soon.

For goodness sake, there’s absolutely no evidence Perica will be out until late December. It’s a relatively simple injury. Shoulder dislocations happen all the time in football and normally involved 3 or 4 weeks out. I reckon our crack medical team should have him back by mid-April at the earliest.

I was going off another poster saying 6 weeks for dislocation, so Xmas period to be back. As you say could easily randomly slip 4 months out of nowhere like Masina :)

I don’t want Deeney back, but what is the deal with him as well? Fit enough to roll onto the pitch for five minutes against Tinpot FC, but not been fit enough since?

Plucky Bournemouth and their £100m starting XI deserved all the luck they got today. How else are they supposed to compete at this level?

All I’m going to say is, we need to up our gamesmanship in this league. Cheating scum like Bournemouth get away with it, and the ref proved today they won’t do anything about it.

I hope on the return fixture we kick the crap out of them. Break a few of their players legs and send a few of them to retirement with career ending injuries.

On a different note, we have got to be in the refs face more in this league. Those challenges need our whole squad and bench to go ballistic at the officials on and off the pitch. Then walking down the tunnel requires some more intimidation. Sometimes we’re too nice to a fault. Got to start playing that game.

Great to see glimpses of the old Chalobah today, hopefully that continues.

Capoue another level, needs to start.

Ashame about Perica injury, caused them plenty of issues.

Troost is solid, easily a PL defender.

Bournemouth are cheating ****s but we knew that, and they know that it will probably get them promoted again.

As it stands, Derby are the only team in the bottom 10 we've played (ignoring -12 Sheff Wed), which bodes well.

Like him or not he's a big name, and he would have been in the refs ear all game. The ref isn't going to be making too many more mistakes after not sending the Kelley kid off.

Was pissed off before but honestly I now feel a lot more confident about promotion than I did before this week. We’re just a really good team with a really good manager. Worse things can happen and I’d of bit your hand off for 7 points from 9 before the week, we were probably a little fortunate to win on Wednesday and last Friday.

All this crying about that tackle. They put a tough tackle on our star player early on. Big deal. That's exactly what we should be doing, and will be doing when capoue and Hughes are back starting.

The same thing happens in every single league in the land.

I thought the move to bring Quina on worked well.

They’d been pinning us back toward our own box for a sustained spell, and we were having trouble getting the ball to stick further forward and give us a chance to push up.

Cleverley just doesn’t have the legs to get up and support, nor the ability to get between the lines and move the ball on.

Domingos moved the ball quickly and worked his way into positions of support up field. A promising show that’ll help his confidence no end, and a nice tactical change from Ivic.

Capoue was really good, and I think it helped Chalobah to have him as support in the second half, particularly as Garner wasn’t at it today.

WTE looks good, and it was lovely to see him stride out of defense to provide an option for the full-backs to play the ball inside.

Definitely a work in progress, but I think there are promising signs, even with the limitations we have in terms of personnel.

I think we need to talk about Capoue's first time ball to Sarr to set up the one on one. My word what a sensational ball that was.

This is correct/ The commentators initally were talking about Bournemouth's possession advantage. I thought that was odd because if FELT like we were largely in control of the game, so I started paying attention to it. They were doing a lot of passing around the perimeter near midfield. We emaintained our shape and shifted with the ball, so... rinse and repeat. Our possession was much more incisive. Ivic definitely has them doing less backwards passing, getting their heads up and trying to get in behind the lines of defense. So our possessions resulted in worthwhile attacks much more quickly. Obviously the vast majority of every teams possessions end up unproductive (this is football not basketball after all), but ours got to something decisive much more quickly.

Wasn’t a goal, though, was it?

All very well playing sensational balls but if you don't score, it means diddly squat.
