We have to be nastier. Bournemouth showed us today that you can get away with kicking the s*** out of opponents for 90 minutes and if we want to stand a chance we have to give a bit back.

Would rather have been outplayed and lost than experience that.

Home draw with Bournemouth, last minute goal conceded at home, referee a c***, Bournemouth cheating. Nothing ever changes.

Exactly - they have made use of the absence of VAR but we haven't

If Reading, Bristol City and Lootown lose it would be a good result, but yeah... it was one of those today. We just love injury time gifts. Ask any Everton, Palace, Swansea, Millwall fan... to many to list.

Anyone know what's the usual length of lay-off for a player's shoulder popping out then getting popped back in? Quick glance online suggests about six weeks? I thought sometimes players can come back much quicker from it.

    Very frustrating.
    Cheating opposition.
    Poor officials.
Should have been at least one red card.
Why do we settle on defending a 1-0 lead?

He actually ******* said that Sarr had 'made the most of ' Kelly earning what should have been his fourth yellow card of the game dragging how down by the shirt in the box. I also think he referred to him as 'the Watford lad', rather than his actual name.

What is it with former characters of ours being absolutely desperate to disassociate themselves as much as humanly possible as soon as they're out and on a broadcasting sofa?

Sorry, that was in response to the VAR comments above mine.

In the premier league we win that game easily because with VAR they’d have had, at the very least, one red card.

Possibly, however in my opinion Bournemouth have a better squad than Brentford and possibly Norwich. I am yet to get the hype about Brentford from the handful of games I have seen them, I watched them the other week against Preston and their defence looked all over the place.

    Bog standard game v Bournemouth.

Only thing that was missing was a penalty.

Frustrating to let the lead slip late one but predictable.

Even more so after they should have had 2 players sent off!

We defended ok and created chances but did lose the ball a lot.

Pedro and Quina did well after coming on.

Depends on Perica, a cryochamber, if it was separated or not. Should be at least six weeks. Just what we need. He scores a goal, is getting some match sharpness and fitness and is out again.

My favourite part was Don Goodman saying that refs don't really want to send off players early.

Unless it's us against them and 26 seconds in. Ref happy to flash an incorrect red card in that scenario.

Well that was a one off decision, I think it would be difficult for VAR to miss at least three separate incidents that should’ve ended up as red cards/second yellows.

Think Aidy probably thinks he is a better manager than he actually is. Call it over confidence or arrogance I call it being a narcissistic twit.

Tbf even though Foster made some good saves and was commanding against Blackburn he still could have done better for their goal, and he's made a few little errors along with his general great play. Have to give Ivic credit for getting a tune out of the defence, because we've seen that individually, Cathcart and Kabasele can be shaky at times, but our set-up seems to negate that without hindering us too much going forward these days

Garner has been incredibly up and down, outstanding against Rovers, very poor today, and elsewhere ranging from 'tidy' to 'anonymous'. I guess that's what happens with a 19 year old kid who's played about 10 senior first team games in his career. Chalobah still does the off the ball work well, even if he gives away possession too much, Cleverley did OK, although he tired towards the end. Capoue is a calming presence, can't wait for him to start regularly

Quina did well, have to give him a lot of credit as he's only played a bit part role, but has stuck to his task (whatever that might be) diligently. He can hit a ball as well, he's already scored a few from range for us, got some wicked swerve on that ball today which caused Begovic problems. Definitely want to see him start against Wycombe, deserves a proper go, in his preferred position would be nice.

I've said this so often about JP, he's incredibly talented, but wasteful when shooting. I would say play him out wide, but it looks like we're without an out and out striker again for a little while. He should be fine playing 90 against Wycombe, a little concerned about Sarr who was on the end of some rough challenges, looks like we have to keep those two up top for as long as possible until we get back one of the many out and out strikers we have (Deeney to come back for Wycombe? Might have to play some part at least!)

I’m not sure what it is about the championship coverage, or why, but it all seems far too watered down and nicey in nicey.

Like them or not, Carragher and Neville would be all over those decisions (or lack of) and calling them exactly what they are.

Funny how people are wistful for VAR when most hated it last season.

Quina looks good further forward, don’t think he’s got it in him to boss midfield but he’s a menace in and around the box.

I'm not yearning for VAR again, but bloody hell, Bournemouth's antics are not a secret, how on God's honest earth do Championship officials still fall for it?

Forget the opposition or the ref, we had enough chances to have put game to bed. We can’t do anything about officials or the other team but we can do something about taking our chances

I don’t think it’s a question of falling for it. They can see it going on, but a weak minded ref won’t want to have to make decisions like sending players off if they can avoid it.

We could try him out as a winger and develop him into that role. I think he has the ability to do so. Has pace, trickery, would come off the wing to attack the box and loves to shoot from cutting in. Think he is still to weak to get his foot on the ball and dominate in a central advanced role.

In the cheating department. There is no doubt the ***** Kelly and their other defenders were under instruction to nobble Sarr as our main threat. Cynical, underhand and dirty. Which is what they are as a club. Utter dogshyte.
