It's surprisingly quiet on the player outgoing front, even on the penultimate day of the European transfer window. So, who do we think will actually go now? Deulofeu - STAY I think he'll stay until January. I've always felt that is his best option. Get physically fit, then get match fit with Watford for a couple of months, then move in January. Sarr - STAY This one is in the wind a little bit though. His recent performances would be enough to suggest to monitoring clubs he's not yet right for a £40m+ move. I really hope that Watford refuse the loan option. That would be a disaster. Deeney - STAY He had a sniff around, but because of his fitness and knee issue, plus Watford will want a bit of money for him, it's enough for those Premier League clubs to think against it. Of course, his window does not close until October 16th, but I believe he'll still be with us for the season. Capoue - STAY I think this is the surprise one. After the club announced he put in a transfer request, it looks as though the move to Valencia is more likely not going to happen. I don't think he'll go in the domestic window either. Dawson - GO I think he'll go, and although he's useful in an attacking sense from corners and freekicks, it's hardly the reason to keep a centre back. He's only average at the back, and we've got plenty of players in that position now. Pussetto - GO Looks like a ship out to Udinese with Pereyra. A move I always thought the club would make. Welbeck - STAY I'm really not sure about this one, and he'll probably get a move to the Prem as a club's backup choice once the European window closes. But in the light of no credible news or links to him, I'll have to consider he will stay, but it won't be a major surprise to me if he does go. Maybe a slight lean on staying at this moment in time. Hughes - STAY I certainly hope he'll stay, and his injury could be a blessing for us. I'll be holding my breath until 16th October on this one though. Femenia - STAY I think he wanted to go, but didn't find a good move for him, so has now decided to stick with us. I have no issue with this, as I'm one of the few on here who actually rates him. It sounds like a lot of players are going to stay, and of course it could all change, but that's how it looks to me, at this moment in time. Consider the financial impact to see if this is actually viable. I think it is. We've raised around £50m in the transfer market already, not including the switches of Pereyra, Pussetto and Troost-Ekong. So I believe we could take this squad forward to at least January, where we'll probably sell Geri for at least £20m. I certainly hope we can do this, as it would dramatically improve our squad if we add Deulofeu, Deeney, Capoue, Welbeck and Hughes to it.
I do hope you're right HB1! If Deeney stays, I wonder if Murray could actually go? I know he's only just arrived but there would then be Deeney and Perica ahead of him in the target man role?
I'm hoping they'll cancel the loan, but we probably have to keep him as part of the agreement until the January window. Another mindless signing which shows the decision makers are not as shrewd as people give them credit for. He was signed on past reputation and no way could anyone have done any real due diligence on him. We had no strikers yesterday but Ivic still didn't pick him. Tells you everything you need to know about what our coach thinks of him.
If we can retain at least some of these players, I totally agree it will dramatically improve our squad, in fact I would be quite confident of bouncing straight back to the PL if we do.

They re all different posts and you are a tw&t for even making this observation. I'll post whatever I like, as many times as I want, and if it annoys the likes of you, even better.
Ben Godfrey to Everton for £10m or so. Are their fans melting down in a Suarez / Doucs 'undervalued' style I wonder?
Didn't Norwich announce it as a record fee received? Given they sold Maddison for around £25m, it seems this deal is around the same figure.
https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/202...parts-for-everton-as-city-receive-record-fee/ They say they received a club record fee - the BBC reckons they got £20m for Maddison from Leicester so it's above the 20m mark. Edit: just saw @nornironhorns post, oops
If he's left footed yes please. Can't see him leaving there while they're short of fit CBs, not looked at who's still injured for them.
I thought I was fairly savvy with the players we had had on our books but completely forgot about this one? Gary Woods goalkeeper 2013/14 made no appearances for us, signed yesterday for Aberdeen!
What a clickbait thread title. Though to really nail it, it needed to be: You’ll never guess which former Watford, Donny and Orient player has completed a move to Scotland...”
Learn how a Rickmansworth mum made millions by knowing this 1 secret about how an ex Watford, Donny and Orient player had moved to Scotland, before they ban it!
Looking at what we have left, we are looking a bit light for another 42 games. GK - 3 players, but Parkes really should not be considered as viable. LB - 0 available players. 1 injured, 2 that can fill in RB - 2 players. 2 injured players CB - 6 players although Dawson likely to go MF - 6 players (including Capoue), 1 injured player. LW - 2 players, 1 injured player RW - 1 player FW - 4 players, although Murray is not really a viable option. So I make that just 24 available players!! and 5 long term injuries. It's tight for sure. We're down to 23 without Dawson, and Parkes, Sierralta, Murray are probably going to be passengers. So.....that will be just 20 players, who we should be picking from. From this list, we clearly need a left back, a right winger and a fast striker (not a target man type). We've been linked with left backs in Douglas and Rahman. Winger (although a left winger) in Atsu and the striker will probably have to be Cucho (If we get the WP). The squad is a little bit too lean for my liking. We're going to have to rely heavily on being injury free this season, in order to make it work.
Now that Welbeck has left, we're down to 23 over 21s who aren't owned by the club (Garner of course still counts towards registration numbers as he's a United player), which includes two long-term crocks in Janmaat and Success, a medium term injury in Masina (who I think wants out in January anyway), Dawson who all parties want out, three bona fide emergency players in Murray, Sierralta and Navarro (any idea when he's back? Anyone care?), in addition to two players in Capoue and Sarr who may yet leave. A good thing on the one hand that we have so many good young players to bulk up the squad, although you know what you're gonna get with kids, and it ain't consistency
