They didn’t tell us he was coming. They just claim we have the option to.

Yes, but we can get him back in January

    From the club website

Watford FC confirms Cucho Hernández has joined Spanish La Liga club Getafe on a one-year loan deal, with an optional break clause in January.

I think that’s part of the problem, nobody has an idea. But yes you would still need to quarantine as you can get it more than once, allegedly.

For pointing out some info that’s fairly informative to the question? Sure. It wasn’t meant personally at all so calm down.

Yes that is true. Because one remark by one individual does indeed represent the view of an unquantifiable and nonexistent group of persons. (actually I did make out out that E and S were like new signings, hmmm)

You just don’t need to do it though. You weren’t even in the conversation. Sometimes you just need to take a step back and stop correcting other peoples post.

I don’t what happened to you mate, but you used to post some great stuff and I enjoyed reading it. Over the past couple months, all you seem to do is nitpick and cause unnecessary arguments. Just give it a rest mate.

I’ll post as I like thanks ‘mate’. You and others might not enjoy it, but plenty do.

I see posts of yours where you go waaaaay over the top and state things as fact. But I just let you get on with it because it’s not personal and it’s up to you how you post.

    Enjoy your evening.

There is apparently an option to recall him, but I can't imagine he would be particularly keen to come back if he continues to start in La Liga matches.

if our squad stays much the same as it does now I would be delighted. Keeping Sarr would be immense and if we keep Hughes I think that elevates us massively. Agree that we are a bit thin in certain positions.

I think our first choice options in most positions are good enough to have us competing for automatics, but if Sarr, JP or Sema are injured the drop of for the replacements is pretty drastic.

It isn't about how crap most of the division is, its about how crap the top 3 or 4 are.

Norwich look very likely to lose both Cantwell and Buendia, and neither were included today due to interest in them. If they do lose those two and don't replace them properly, I am not sure they will be in the mix.

I think Bournemouth will definitely be up there - while their depth doesn't look great, most of that starting 11 is premier league quality and we know their owner isn't afraid to splash the cash. They have made a lot through sales so far so would expect them to reinforce further.

Think Swansea will probably be up there - got the best defence in the division and the best striker in my opinion.

Beyond that I can't really tell - Blackburn, Bristol and Reading have looked very good, but hard to tell if it is just 3 games of decent form or something more.

I don't think Bournemouth have signed anyone for their first team this season, their only 'new' player I think was a young lad who was on loan at Wycombe last season. Remember them being linked with a League 1 (Ipswich I think) striker, but they had a bid of less than £2m rejected, I'm not sure what's up, as they had already made quite a few sales by then. They've made a good start, and on paper their team looks good (I don't think they'll lose anyone else now, although if they get injuries/suspensions they might struggle), although I'm not sure about their manager. Norwich with the squad they have at the minute should be well up there, but if they do lose Cantwell and Buendia, they'll be bloody hard to replace (I assume they will try though). Brentford of course favourites too, even without Benrahma, lucky to get a point at Millwall, although I expect they'll be dark horses too. Swansea look very good, although I don't think they're so much better than last season that they'll get automatic promotion, fair bet for the play-offs. Blackburn, Bristol City and Reading seem like mid-table to me

Bournemouth are saying David Brookes has got feverish symptoms and they kept him out of the squad. That means the owner is looking to sell him and they are in financial disarray, they haven’t got a hope.

I think this is passport dependent, that's at least partly why he went on loan again, lord only knows what effect Brexit will have on that though.

Is there any concrete evidence that this is actually happening, as in has it been officially announced, (link?) or is it just a collection of rumours?

I'll be a bit pee'd off if he does leave without giving it a go, but if he really doesn't want to be here, that's as much down to the owners treating him like a commodity, as it is down to him being stubborn.

Think it all boils down to the photo the Spanish media used. Was it an old photo used to generate clicks? Or was it genuinely a current photo of him and his partner is Granada? If it’s the latter, I’d say that’s incredibly strong evidence that he’s on the way there - mainly due to quarantine rules. Can’t believe we would let him be over there knowing he’d be out for another 2 weeks upon returning...would just make no sense!

If he moves, do people still believe his exclusion from the playing side was down to 'covid?'

Yeah - Ivic wasn't afraid to imply Welbeck wasn't playing as he didn't want to be here at the same press conference. See no reason he would lie about Suarez.

He then said Suarez was "outside the group" - which is how he has described the other wantaways.

Yes. But he was probably out licking park benches/ rolling in hospital bins, to avoid having to play for our sorry excuse for a club.

  34. Burnsy

I do. Because for all the clubs current off-field faults, I really don't think they would lie about a positive Covid test. Whether Suarez wanted it made public is another matter.
