It was Mapps who tested positive for Covid-19 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...tford-player-tested-positive-coronavirus.html
Boom - that brings me back to the early days of covid19 when every thread was mandated to include this response
Poor Mapps. Get well soon! Btw, we all love you and forgive you for that stunning own goal at Brighton, so focus on getting better and ignore any trolls that attempt to harass you or any of your family.
The rumours I heard were that our defence has been socially distancing from opposition strikers since last August...
Aaron Ramsdale, the Bournemouth keeper is the latest to test positive for the virus. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...sdale-reportedly-tested-positive-coronavirus/ He's still not high profile enough for the powers that be to even blink an eye at. Now had it been Alisson, De Gea or Ederson then I'm sure they would call a halt to the whole thing.
I suspect they would have still carried on but just awarded their team 8 points for the inconvenience and to cover possible lost points.
If a couple of Liverpool players got it, I don't think it would make too much of a difference as they are so close to the winning line but teams fighting for the remaining top 4 would certainly make the PL think again.
