Wolves did rest a few players, so have prepared for that disadvantage. However, it should still be a little in our favour.

Their wingbacks v our fullbacks is going to be a key battle. Worried they can get in behind us.

I called Childern DC pest services and their preferred contractor says that the status of 'protected' is erroneous, due to widespread confusion with status of the the domestic, hazel dormouse. They also say that there's little to be done until they come out of hibernation in spring.

They need to trap, record and destroy them, so that the spread of the invasive species can be monitored. Flipping Rothschild and his hobbies.

Yes I'm pretty certain it's the protected hazel dormice you've got.....
Out of interest how do you know you have them - have you seen them ? Where do you live ? I only found ours when one knocked over the pot it was hiding behind.
Yes Rothschild is responsible for quite a few invasive species eg deer.

The deer are due to the Dukes of Bedford, at Woburn, at least muntjac are, I believe. Their family mausoleum is over the road from me. If their deer are causing you problems I'll release a load of dormice into their tomb.

Doubt it. Hazel Dormice aren't notorious for hanging out in attics being a strictly woodland species with a veggy rather than plastic diet. Increasingly rare too. I've only ever seen one. Glis glis are numerous on Chorleywood Common and an adjacent Vicarage Roadie has had them in his loft.

Don't think Rothschild is responsible for deer populations either. The Fallow at Ashridge were part of a hunting estate that pre-dates Rothschild by centuries, Muntjacs (as per moog) and Chinese Water Deer originated at/escaped from Woburn and Roe and Red are native.

My perspective on them beating Man City.

They went 2 down against 10 men.
The Bald fraud took De Bruyne off at 67 minutes - that changed the game.
If Mendy defended properly, Wolves don't score their 2nd

If we were playing on the 2nd of January like Liverpool, then he would be. This is not sarcasm, I saw it on the internet, and the internet doesn’t lie.

If you're reading this sub-thread and you think you have them in your roof, don't for a moment be fooled by their cute looks. Once they break into your living quarters you will remember these warnings. The little b****ards sh*t and p**s everywhere and carry fleas that will bite you. And they destroy things with their teeth.
One theory is that their recent spreading is due to people live-catching them and then releasing them into the countryside. Ffs!
Kill them - and if you're worried about the law, lie like f**k.

But don’t knock him - he also introduced a few N American mooses (Alces Alces).

Some escaped and got frisky due to the warmer climes and the nice turn of ankle of our native red deer hinds legs in Cassiobury Park. :)

And hey presto, we have our distinctive palmate-antler hybrid Hertfordshire Watford moose-deer.

It's a shame JP is unavailable for this one, I can imagine it being a tight game where a pair of fresh legs to bring on towards the end capable of nicking a goal could make all the difference.

Hoping Gerry D has a stormer now we have Sarr on the other side to take the pressure off him to win every game single handed...

If Caps is suspended though we'll struggle in midfield

Is Holebas fit? I know he's been dire this season but you hardly hear him mentioned. I take it Masina will fill Mapps's vacant position.

No word on whether either of Hughes/Cathcart or Bobby are availiable?

And thankfully we still have an in form Faps in goal; he's good with his hands. But we have to hope that more of our back line don't get injured or suspended during the match or else we may end up with Gaps appearing in our defence.
