Same here. Willing to give him until 3pm on Saturday before deciding he has to go.

I'm in-now to think of a question or two as me and 49 others chat informally for 30 minutes-maybe only one word answers to very short questions are possible

Are we going there to win on Saturday?
Will you be able to pick players to join on loan/permanent in january or does it still have to go through Giraldi ?
    Who let the dogs out?

    I've got an invite.
    My question;
Nigel, what is your favourite type of egg, Ostrich?

If anybody's going, please could you advise him to be wary of Giraldi? I honestly hope Nige banishes him from training and the dressing room.

Can someone going please ask how and why Deeney keeps getting picked as our main striker despite now being terrible?

Or, perhaps more pertinently, ask: has Pearson with his fresh pair of eyes observed that Deeney is just living off of past glories and should be sold?

Genuinely, someone?! TD is stealing a living at this club now.

I'm going. But no need to warn him about that I think. Nige is his own man and if he doesn't like Giraldi's interference then he will be the one to bring him down a peg or two.

Again not necessary. Nige will be well aware that Deeney is four years on from the time he was a big fan (Pearson of Deeney) and decide accordingly.

I'd hope so, but I'm not convinced - seeing Deeney cosy up to Pearson so much in the club's training video gave me the shivers and may prove a bad omen.

Deeney has only just come back from injury..

Give me Troy over Gray or Success!

Maybe Pedro will be the answer to our striking woes .

Currently I've three questions/comments under consideration:

    1. How difficult is it to be walking in Derbyshire on Wednesday and then, essentially, have to move to Watford totally unexpectedly with a suitcase on Friday? Has he managed to vote?

    2. How important was 'putting back the dream team' with the Stratford bard? Was that a condition of taking the job?

    3. Impressed with the considered nature of the video interview especially around the psychological aspects of putting a winning team on the pitch. As long as he never says 'in this f.cking moment' he should get along fine with us lot.

The first one has no real relevance or importance.

The third one isn't a question or anything novel.

The second one is a reasonable question, but not very challenging and we could already guess the answer - it would have been important to him and he's pleased to be working with him again, but it was unlikely to be a set in stone condition.

Ask about Deeney and ruffle some feathers.

So the bloke's been in the job for under a week and you'd want to put him on the spot and 'ruffle some feathers' before he's even put a team on the pitch?

This will no doubt be some sort of 'getting to know you' sesh and I'll ask something appropriate to that.

I feel for Pearson. A week in and you have to listen to a bunch of smelly, dribbling morons asking you about formations.

    He'll be gone by Monday.

So getting to know his relationship with and views on TD (who is still somehow the club captain) are valid.

I fail to see how asking him if he's had a chance to vote yet (of course he would have) would provide us with any information worth knowing.

The only question worth asking is "who do you blame for the predicament we're in?"

Then the fans can hound the victim until they mentally break and leave the club

Well you obviously don't do chit chat. His relationship with Deeney would be a fair question but your timing is awful. Why not wait and see how he uses him first and then, if Deeney's slow and ineffectual but keeps getting picked would be the time to ask a critical question.

He hasn't picked him at all yet. Coaches will always defend their players though and I doubt you'd ever get a critical answer that targeted an individual player.

I feel worryingly optimistic about the season ahead now.

It's not fair, I'd finally accepted relegation and now this.

It would already be too late by then once it inevitably happens, and such meet and greet events with the manager are very rare so the opportunity may not ever come round again.

Also, sure it's unlikely he'd be explicitly outright critical of an individual player, but he may drop hints.

But also, probably the main benefit of such questioning is to demonstrate to him that the fans have also been critical of TD's performances recently - this could help solidify any thoughts he may have had in his mind about TD being subpar which may have been undermined by him wondering whether he was missing something while others, largely in the press who rarely watch us, continue to be sycophantic towards Troy.

It could also reassure him that were he to drop or even sell Troy that the response from the fans would not be as negative as he may have feared, and there could actually rather be support for him from such a decision, rather than an unpopular fan backlash.

So it's important, and very timely.

Maybe he could be asked how to get Gray to control a ball and can Success stay fit for a week ?

You'll probably find like most people outside the club he will find Deeney as an important part of the squad ..

Sure Troy isn't the player he once was but most of the squad seem to be like that !

I would ask why he was so delighted to be approached by a club who consider their head coach to be totally disposable, and who will no doubt sack him in the new year.

From the interviews he has so far given I would say he's very keen to grow confidence and positive thoughts so he is likely try to put that across to those supporters.
I would be certain that he is completely disinterested in negative people with their negative vibe and negative questions. So I'm sure that he would be receptive to supporters like CleyHorn and his positive approach.

I would also add that while Deeney is indeed in his twilight years now, he is just coming back from injury and last week he did pretty well, winning a number of headers, linked up play and laying on a number of chances. Certainly better in his not yet 100% fitness state, than anyone else in the squad and doing the job he is asked to do. Also you would have seen him throughout the game cajoling other players, moving them into marking positions and generally doing what has been missing as a captain and leader.

Looking forward to asking him if he’s open to the option of Gorilla Pressing Giraldi into the same pit that Travner, Oulare, Junior and Suarez currently inhabit.

Talking about Holebas, I reckon he is the type of player that Pearson will like, because like him or loathe him at least Holebas shows passion and gives a **** unlike many of our other players.

Yeah, but he's complete turd and 5/6 years past his prime, so his "passion" (or consistent idiocy and lack of controlled temperament, rather) is absolutely worthless.

What I don't get is that although Holebas is very similar to Robbo in many ways, most Hornets think that Robbo walks on water, but a lot of Hornets can't stand Holebas, I really don't get why?
