Watford General will be soon full of obese people who have just wandered in from junkfoodopolis the new development in the heart of the High Street. Paris or Buenos Aires it isn't.
There is only one thing guaranteed in this world, and that is whoever I choose in my FF team will have a nightmare
Well one favourite has been beaten today in Japan, maybe another one will be beaten in Watford today COME ON U ORRRNNNSSSSSSSSSSS
Went to see 42nd Street. Fab, proper musical. Not like these cobbled together 'jukebox' musicals, or banal Lloyd Webber doggerel.
West Side Story is my all-time favourite musical. I also have a soft spot for "Meet Me in St Louis" but more because it evokes childhood memories.
We will win. How do I know this? Because my sister and I have decided to not to go and to watch it on TV instead. You can all thank me later.
There’s not a chance we win today. Not a chance. I’m so confident that we don’t have a chance, I’m going to lump on Chelsea to win comfortably.
Huddersfield won their first Premier League game of the season on game-week 11. Can history repeat itself? Bloody hope so or we’ve had a worse points return than Hudderfield Town - arguably the worst team to play in the Prem since Derby
Great to see current scores going our way.. Glad I went for the third glass of pre match red wine. Concerned that everything is currently bleak and I decided against the big coat.
Well Norwich haven't scored yet... so still hope there at least. Saying that, we haven't scored yet either...
I have an extraordinary feeling of optimism all of a sudden. Where it has come from, I know not, but I detect an unmistakable vibe that tells me we're going to shock Chelsea today. Something in the great cosmos has shifted in our favour. We're going to win, and win well. Frank Lampard, by the way, is a pheasant plucking Berkshire hunt.
I remember feeling that way all of a sudden before I boarded my flight home for the cup final. I’m glad you’re getting this moment of hope and optimism. It’ll be crushed very shortly, but it is nice while it lasts.
So you've forked out for a season ticket and now you're not going to the matches? Did you send a cardboard cutout along?
2 cardboard cutouts of me and my sister, complete with half and half scarves and plastic flags - they'll never know the difference. To answer your question, yes, I have forked out on a season ticket and, yes, I'm missing this match. The other matches I haven't been able to go to have been unavoidable and my brother-in-law has taken my place. This one is purely because I can't face what will probably be a 2.5 hour journey each way to see Watford get spanked by Chelsea when I have to also travel to Thorpe Park at 10.30. Plus, I only go to the glamour matches - Brighton, Bournemouth and, next, Burnley. Sorry not sorry.
so defensive again - I guess it's a given considering the opposition. A point here would be good IF we can beat Norwich. Who, having just conceded to Brighton, look almost as fooked as us right now.
Why name 3 full backs on bench. Give dalby a place on the bench at the very least. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
agreed it’s ridiculous and completely unnecessary I’d rather see a youth instead of 1 or 2 of the full backs. what has happened to that guy we spent 30 million on? I know it was supposed to be a leg injury last week but I’ve not seen any news on him.
Shame no Capoue still. Success on the bench is at least something. Pleased to see Hughes back on the bench where he belongs. We really need Gray to somehow rediscover his goalscoring touch.
