The answer is surely no, but I don't think he was really saying that.
    Besides, I'm the bestest fan.

I don't remember exactly how many ticket stubs etc. were needed (I had loads) but I do remember that any one individual could only get four tickets and you had to queue up all night. The queue stretched all the way up Occupation Road and beyond. I was about 1/3 of the way up.

Anyway, I needed five. So my mate, a mad Yugoslav called Franco, queued up with me to get the fifth. He didn't even like football so it was way beyond the call of duty. But he was a coke dealer and high as a kite so it didn't worry him and he ran up and down 100m of queue all night entertaining us all with his mad antics in the wee, small hours.

Every home game (season ticket) and half-a-dozen or so aways per season. My personal policy is generally not to comment on what happened in a match I didn't attend but rather to adopt a listening brief.

So on the back of this result, how many unwanted records are we stacking up?

Biggest defeat in the FA Cup final, quickest time to be losing 5-0, biggest league defeat in our history, worst Premier League debut (Foulquier)…………..and another possibility is that it could be the first time TWO Premier League managers have been sacked by the same club at the beginning of the season.

Of course not. But like me, you seem to adopt a 'watching brief' on the actual post-match comments bit. Others sound off about it as if they were actually there.

There's all the difference in the world between a new young supporter who has just attended his first match and now might be hooked for life (unless his first match was yesterday of course), an older armchair supporter who has only ever been once (and consequently not worth the paper) and you who doesn't attend any more because he can't.

But you said in another thread that all we should care about is how we've improved as a viable club on and off the field.

Does any of your post matter then?

How is that a contradiction? We've improved on and off the field and we're smashing records. What's not to like?

There is something rotten at the core of this group of players. What happened to all the young hungry players we were promised through the amazing scouting network?

Well I most certainly do. From the early hours anyway. I guess the sale was probably in late April/early May. The semi-final was on 14 April. The final on 19 May. It's light at 5 a.m. And we were certainly queuing for a number of hours in the dark. Maybe others chanced it a bit and turned up later.

And come January, who is going to want to join a team deep in the **** with a worldwide reputation for shitting their pants in big games and shipping goals for fun.

Edit: actually what we'll get is a load more spineless players who don't care about their careers and are only there for the money.

Well that was just the most surreal football experience of my entire footballing life.

We started debating leaving at 2-0, got up out of our seats at 3-0 and hadn't even got out of the stadium by 5-0. Utterly bonkers stuff.

I don't even feel that angry about it now. I just feel complete apathy towards our team. I dont hate them, just feel nothing at all. They are just a bunch of men who wear a Watford shirt. If they all spontaneously combusted tomorrow I'd be completely unmoved.

I don't even think this result will have an impact on future results. They knew they would lose heavily and they lost heavily. So what? It means nothing to them.

Wolves they will think they can beat, and so they will try and may well get a result.

That's just how it is now.

Isn't the North uphill? A tow behind the mini .
It is illegal to ski on the roads in France, even if they are covered in snow.
In England, l would surely hit a pothole...

Still know him. Lives in Kew. When we got back to my parents' house in Ricky a neighbourhood watch snoop called out the police because we looked so 'wild'. My mum wasn't best pleased.

As per previous seasons games against Man City and the other top teams do not decide our destiny it’s games against Wolves and Sheffield United that will make the difference, granted we haven’t done very well this season, but the current coach has got a point V Arsenal which was an improvement on last season.

I’m not a happy clapper and yesterday was embarrassing to say the least, but no one died (as far as I’m aware) we are a lot better off than when the Pozzo’s took over, Yeovil home anyone? was on their watch but we ended up where we wanted to be!

We aren’t Bury or Bolton, lets see what happens in the next few games, we have good enough players I believe to stay up, admittedly the change from the second half against Arsenal to yesterday’s match was staggering, it’s as much a mental thing as anything else!
Man City were hurt from the Norwich game and we unfortunately had a very bad day!

Surely, the question should be whether our 'very bad day' was avoidable or not? Could Watford have done something about it with a correct mindset or was it entirely at the whim of the gods?

A bit more fortitude would have turned a 'very bad day' into 'quite a bad day'.

There's always hope as long as the club has guardians like me looking out for it.

I accept that the majority of fans lack the courage to stand up to the evils of laziness, complacency and general shitness, but fortunately I am here to do the heavy lifting for them.

You just enjoy the success that I have helped create by hounding out the deadwood. No need to thank me.

A guardian - don't make me laugh - oops I just did! You think that you "stand-up" by spouting drivel on this forum. You create nothing but bile and venom, I'm afraid. Just like your compatriots GD, Relegation Certs, Jumbolina and especially Nathwfc. Why you bother "supporting" Watford I really don't know.

Or maybe you just like to be thought of as controversial and edgy.....

You're just the sort of fan we need right now.
